  1. I never said I wasn't paying anything more man..."Take yersel", is that Glaswegian patter?
  2. Yes, I've mentioned who has intimated this in other posts.
  3. How do the Government know when they will reduce social distancing to a one metre? Iminavest has already told us that we would be need to be incredibly dim not to know that the situation changes month to month. So how can the Government predict when they will reduce socal distancing to one metre and allow 7,500 (possibly) into Pittodrie?
  4. It was tongue in cheek because Iminavest said that people would have to be incredibly dim to not know that the Covid situation changes from month to month. Therefore, I said they would need to be incredibly dim to buy a season ticket in that circumstances. But the whole point of my posts has been that the club aren't being entirely honest to the support about the purchase of season tickets.
  5. I don't understand the question. No club official has officially said we're signing an International striker.
  6. I'm having a go at the clubs for abusing the loyalty of the supporters.
  7. Exactly, thanks for that Mr Hull, I forgot to include the whole tweet. "Be there when Pittodrie roars again" . Not watch on RedTV as Pittodrie roars again. It's clearly stating 7,500 in at Pittodrie. Therefore, nothing about guaranteeing access to RedTV. We can be in no doubt that "guarantee access to partial crowd games" means attendance in Pittodrie. I can't believe though that I need to clarify that. "Increasingly hopeful"? on July 1st? It's July 17th and we still have 2 metre distancing. What was giving them hope?
  8. I don't reckon anything. Either the club knows about the poster or it doesn't. If they don't know who he/she is then he's been spreading accurate information for at leat ten years. I first remember he/she revealing Lee Hendrie was in talks with Aberdeen during the McGoo era, which was true. Nobody was mentioning Hendrie as a possible Aberdeen player at the time. That info could only have come from inside Pittodrie. That's not the only time. Go on AbMad and they will tell you about this Nostradamus. Ten years ago and he/she is still at it. This is not someone rattling off rumour after rumour (like Vancouver_Don although there's something odd about his posts too) and getting a hit once in awhile. This poster only comments occasionally and with remarkable accuracy most times although not always. Enough though for AbMad to view he/she as a respected poster. Therefore, either the club have been unable or unaware to source the leak for the last ten years or they've been instigating the leaks. Ok so the fans are happy with the club accepting what seems to be one of the first offers but we now know for sure they club are punting Cosgrove at some point in the next few weeks. Negative news. The club is in talks at a "critical stage" with an "international striker". Might be true, it might not be. But somebody is wanting this story to spread and that's exactly what's happened. If the club are looking at an international striker like Jordan Rhodes then I can't see any benefit in leaking it. However, under these circumstances, the club have allowed information regarding SOME transfer targets to leak out of the club for ten years. I don't believe this though.
  9. "7,500 Initial Capacity at Pittodrie for partial crowds"...
  10. Well I personally don't have any issues with the club using the media for their own ends. I think it would negligent not to, because, for example, Traynor has been doing it for years at Sevco. Now, if this poster from AbMad isn't using the forum under the club's instruction then they could be very destructive for our transfer dealings. If we are looking at Jordan Rhodes, for example, then they have just given the heads up to other clubs who look at similar players in our price range. The number of international strikers, probably Scottish, that we could afford would be few and far between so easy to identify for other clubs and might have them chasing him and make the deal unaffordable. But this poster has been giving little snippets of info for years. He's never been rooted out. Which makes me think the club know about it. And if the club know about it, then they won't want to reveal they're chasing an international striker for the reason given above. So either the poster is correct and we're after the player and the club don't know who the leak is or the club know about the poster because it's part of his remit and this is disinformation probably or possibly to distract from our seemingly quick acceptance of the offer from the French outfit for Cosgrove and his impending departure to England. But I don't think any of that is fraud. That's just the way things work in football.
  11. That must have cost a couple of bob to get those veteran broadcasters on board. They must be burning through that season ticket money...
  12. Well you've answered your own question their Coprolite because although Strachan was a good player, Paisley getting inside Strachan's head was exactly the game. I don't think you could call putting out a positive story about looking at an international player fraud though? I'm perhaps misunderstanding, why do you call it fraud?
  13. But that's the way it's always worked Captain. Clubs use to spread disinformation through favoured journalists when print media was relevant. That's not conspiracy theory, that's how the world works. Remember Bob Paisley using the press to laud Gordon Strachan before the European Cup match. That was Paisley and Liverpool using the media to spread disinformation.
  14. It is and it's also untrue. I questioned if MainStandMoan could be posting at the behest of the club and if that's the case, could be providing positive news to counteract the negative Cosgrove news. I don't think it's far fetched to imagine that AFC has somebody monitoring online forums and social media. I'd be disappointed if they didn't...
  15. Is that a guess or based on informed information Fillin?
  16. And do you not see that my second paragraph refers to my first so I'm not actually comparing Oldco 's EBT years to Aberdeen's response to Covid-19?
  17. And who do you think our new international striker is then Colombo?
  18. I don't know the last time you attended a match Mr Hull but, if you take a look around next time, then you might see that it's quite possible that not every fan tunes into the evening news to get updates on Scotland 's lockdown restrictions. The club should clarify clearly that purchasing a season ticket for 2020/21 guarantees sweet F.A. But they don't, they're guaranteeing access for the first 7,500 fans in a partial crowd game when they are in no position to do so. False advertising is the use of false, misleading, or unproven information to advertise products to consumers. Not everybody is up to date on their current affairs like you Mr Hull and I'm afraid the club are taking advantage of that with this piece of marketing.
  19. Aye just shut up and give the club your money and expect nothing in return or go and follow Sevco Look "Big Al" that's how Oldco/Sevco operated/operate. If they're brain dead followers had asked a few questions during the Murray Metals era then maybe their club wouldn't have wound up in the cemetery.
  20. Your 'humour' sounds just as 'wacky' as your avatar looks.
