Hibs best in the first half. Thought Saints edged the second half. Hibs second goal was a great counter attack. In fact I was nervous every time Hibs went forward. Saints created many chances in the second half. Value for money for a neutral I would say yes. Young Hibs player with the red hair taken off had a great first half he has a good future in the game. Really pleased for Jamieson he has been chapping at the door for ages. Open game good to see. Saints fans enjoy this moment Robinson won't be long at Saints he is a top manager he not only has a good 11 players he has a squad of good players . Clubs will be in on January we know that. Summer will be the big moment. Since becoming fan ownership in partnership with Scotland's oldest charity we have improved year on year it's amazing what a fuckin ride. Hibs are looking decent you now have a good manager he will get you stronger with time. My favourite away day is Hibs Leith is now the best night out in Edinburgh so many great pubs serving very good food. Leith also has some great restaurants. Was lucky enough to eat in Tom Kitchen as a chef myself and traveled the world it's the best I have ever eaten in. That God I will make our next home game against Livie no way will it be as good a game as tonight's. Happy with the draw.

Hibs worth the lead Saints very sloppy took a while to get going but starting to look stronger as first half coming to an end . Strain poor by his standards though that might be down to Hibs right on him. Plenty options on the bench change is guaranteed changes for the second half.

That must be one of the lower cost in the top flight.
I’d like to see lower prices but unfortunately that’s the reality. I rarely go to away games anymore as it’s hugely expensive for travel, tickets, food, drink etcAgree £26 is lower price like yourself I don't do away games now unless it's a cup. However next season I become an official senior citizen so I might start going to away some away games.

I'm a Hibs fan who happens to live in the West - not yet got myself a ticket for the game but intending to go - tickets via Hibs are not print at home/download QR code and now have to be collected from Easter Road. Is there likely to be the normal away ticket sale office close to the away end where I can just pay for a ticket on the night?
Hibs are selling tickets up to 4pm today. Anyone who can't pick up from Easter Road Hibs will deliver to St Mirren for pick up at the SMISA stadium.

St Mirren will be one up then in the 99th minute of extra time ,not even Celtic fans will know where the extra 9 minutes came from. Celtic are awarded a dodgy penalty with the last kick of the ball to finish the game 1 - 1 draw. Either that or Saints get a man sent off 10 minutes into the game. VAR does not stop refs from helping out what side of the old firm they lean to.

Change of referee confirmed. Credit where it's due to authorities for listening. Saints presented a strong case against the Renfrew man, not just of evidence from the last time he did this fixture but also of other decisions he's made in favour of St Mirren.
Game handed to Dougie Yeats, which I'm sure we can all agree is far more palatable.
Just imagine going to Ibrox with 11 players 50,000 fans and a master mason in front of you to play against. While the master mason awarded 4 penalties against you. Three of which when after analysis on Sportscene was not penalties. No it's not from a fantasy novel and no we did not stop him referring future games. The SFA gave him a short suspension.

Couldn't have looked very hard.
The wee barmaid in Gabriel's got 3/1.
I looked myself and could not find anything. Corners and all sorts but not penalties. Next time on please ask her what bookies she got that on. I even typed into Google and nothing came up.

Aye, i got it wrong after having an other think about it and the amount of effort the players put into it.
Just pissed off we failed to land a glove on them before and after the sending off.
Said before we need better upfront, and i hope Ayunga hits the floor running when he returned.
Rest of the team is fine.
My brother pre-match spent an hour on his mobile trying to find odds for Rangers to get a penalty. None were available.

It was a sending off going by the rules but 28 min in it ruined what could have been a good game. Gogic had a great game Taylor stood out also he can control a ball very well. O'Hara, wondering if he is still not fully fit or carrying a knock not his dominating self. Hard to say I suppose when your down to 10 men.

The rain has been constant here and the forecast is not good at all. Could the game be in doubt ?
Already 4 off & no doubt pitch inspections elsewhere will see more call offs.I'm on the Wemyss Bay ferry crew telling me to go Largs way . Inverkip road flooded no doubt parts of the Greenock also. Hoping to have a night in Glasgow. Hope the game is on . Have heard what FTOF is saying rain pass by teatime .

I see Nick Walsh is Sunday's ref. Remember he chopped off 3 goals against Hearts.

The human factor will, of course, mean that there are still some errors. But I think part of the issue is that there aren't enough cameras.
I just posted similar in the Kilmarnock match thread but off the top of my head;
Greive 'goal' against Dundee
Mandron 'goal' against Hearts
Lyons handball on Saturday
Strain handball on Saturday
Miovski double touch penalty
All of these decisions stuck with the on field call not because the decision was definitely correct but because the pictures couldn't conclusively show the decision was wrong. And this is before we get to the ludicrous offside calls like Greive's against Hearts.
We're paying a lot of money for a system that makes watching the game worse for spectators and at best marginally increases the number of correct decisions.
What are all the white type thigs sticking in the ground all along the pitch . Certainly at the main stand side where I sit. They appeared when Var was introduced. I was under the impression they were part of the VAR camara set up. Anyone know if they are part of var ? If so every angle is covered.

This is a great still for the first goal.

Indeed.
It happened, so we move on. We didn't deserve anything else from the game.
Although if if highlights another failure of VAR officials, then that's a bonus.
Agree with that. You can't change the result more importantly it again shows up the incompetence of those who take charge of games . We all suffer on another day Killie would have got a penalty with Strain's hand ball. Hell knows what the answer full time refs ?

Great to see Hemming back to last season's form. Just an absolute howler. Very strange from him as coming and collecting crosses and balls in the air is by far the biggest strength of his game.
Thought Magennis' own goal was a howler and he followed it up moments later with a shocker of a pass before getting injured. Need to feel for him as he's been good for us, hopefully a speedy recovery.
On paper I think we've made obvious improvements. The back four, on paper, is an improvement. The likes of Magennis and Kennedy seem obvious improvements on what we had.
At the moment though there are still just far too many shitey performances and soft, awful goals given away.
Have never liked McInnes and just keep hoping it comes good for him. Hopefully the obvious improvements mentioned will start to mean improved performances. We had two fantastic showings against the old firm and since then it's been largely dire.
Mcginnes unfortunately is injury prone just ask Hibs also. It's a shame as he could have went far in the game.
