If Rangers and Benfica are tied atop the group who has the tiebreaker?

I didn't mean in reference to that aspect, more the financial side and people from town's of smaller teams would root for Yankees/Sox.

The similarities between this and baseball circa 1995-2009 with the Yankees and Red Sox being the OF are pretty striking.

It would be nice if they could get the Maritimes team figured out. Having a 10-team league from coast to coast would be ideal. But you'd have to find a rich enough owner and have a decent enough stadium. I have no clue if the Halifax area could support a team, but it couldn't do worse than Toronto.

The CFL is very under-valued from an entertainment perspective. It's too bad more people in the Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver areas don't appreciate it.

ha. It's funny, when I first got on here multiple posters warned of Rangers fans as "scum of the earth" or something to that effect, but pretty much every Rangers fan I've interacted with on here has been very pleasant.

Eh, maybe. Marty may have been a good regular season coach, but he was shit in the playoffs. His playoff failures haunted Chiefs fans for 20+ years. The decision to stick with Elvis Grbac instead of going to Rich Gannon was one of the dumbest decisions of the 90s. Really wasn't surprised when he had the regular season success in San Diego then was just good enough to lose in the postseason. It was almost a carbon copy of what he did in KC.

Thurman Thomas, Andre Reed, Jim Kelly, etc. Yep, they were loaded. But they ran into equally loaded teams in the Super Bowls as well and the last 3 games didn't play that great. People forget how damn good that Redskins team was and those Cowboys teams were nasty.

You could technically start games on the west coast at 9 p.m. Eastern ST (6 p.m. PST) if you wanted to. So play games at noon, 3, 6 and 9. More likely they'll have 2 of the games at the same time, but it's a great question.

Agreed. Pretty soon the regular season for all sports in the USA is going to be meaningless (see: college basketball). This is why college football is still the best sport on a weekly basis (during normal times) because every week during the regular season means so much.
