Is Tam the only person who calls Aberdeen vs Dundee United the “New Firm”
I honestly don’t think I’ve ever heard it being used elsewhere

Strange that the commentator at Celtic Park made absolutely no mention of the disruption of the silence or that it was cut to about 20 seconds.
What was the silence for?

There’s a thread on here full of it.
I don’t know what funnier seeing them pretend that asking why a different camera angle for the decision wasn’t used isn’t a reasonable request, for a system that costs millions
or
Pretending they wouldn’t be asking the same question if it involved a club they support

Can you imagine the shite we’d take on here if we just waited til we lost before pointing out the glaring inconsistencies in the performance of the refs and the var refs?
Celtic are not even complaining that it was ruled offside, just why wasn’t shown from a better angle
VAR isn’t cheap, hardly an unreasonable request and I suspect if it involved other teams this “paranoid” nonsense wouldn’t even be a thought

On Tuesday, the Democratic Party got 51 percent of the vote statewide. This got the Democrats…30 percent of the seats in the state legislature

Where's John Fleck these days.............or Islam Feruz. So much hype as teenagers around both of them once too
Doak is miles ahead of Feruz when he was that age

I’m not disputing he made something up, I’m just saying the fact that he (wrongly) arrived at the right decision and the linesman knew it wasn’t a penalty but said nothing to him is often overlooked.
Yet he lied
It’s not some sort of mad conspiracy when the guy actually tells a lie

Aye, what is often lost on them is the fact is it wasn’t actually a penalty. And, the linesman at the match admitted afterwards he knew it shouldn’t have been a penalty but he never indicated this to McDonald. Guess what team the lino supported
but they don’t like hearing that.
The referee was punished for making things up
It has now been confirmed McDonald made up his own mind. "What he [McDonald] said wasn't the correct information, you can call it a lie if you wish," Stewart Regan, the SFA's chief executive, said. "The view of our committee was that he acted in the spur of the moment, he said something that he fully regretted.
"Dougie said things in the heat of the moment, they weren't true. He said things in the heat of the moment which he regrets entirely because they didn't fully explain the process involved."

Remember this escapade after another Celtic victory...

Yeah I remember the Dundee United manager and Scotland assistant Manager at the time calling the referee a cheat, despite the penalty again them being reversed
"Dougie couldn't get his finger to the spot quickly enough. It's not the first he has given against us," said Houston.
"But then Dougie McDonald conspires to try to give a penalty against us.“
“"Then it transpires that it is not a penalty. What has happened there? Is it the momentum taking Hooper over the goalkeeper?

Of course it does
Still, when you think of the Somme the words glory and honour shouldn’t be coming into your head
WW1 was absolutely horrific and shouldn’t be romanticised

Thanks for answering for me but no, you have missed something. The Clown got involved initially on the tin pot thread bringing up Lafferty and demanding justice as he always tends to do.
He used the same technique of trying to deflect a point by posting a loaded question. It gets a bit boring after a while.
The mental gymnastics from you are amazing
You going to start charging me £15 to live in your head or will I still be living rent free

I take it this is only legally available to those living abroad? Not likely to be affecting many people. We were £12 when people couldn't attend games or free to season ticket holders, how much were Celtic?
Cheaper than what Motherwell are charging, but id also argue £12 is excessive
You won’t hear my arguing in support of it, especially now with the cost of living crisis
If it was upto me it would be £5 max to watch games online

I think it is what it is and you're under no obligation to pay for it
Yeah of course im not.
But I think you’re not being entirely truthful when you say you don’t believe it’s excessive
48 minutes ago, Kapowzer said:You tried the same argument with Lafferty,
What?
48 minutes ago, Kapowzer said:What I do believe is you pick and choose your outrage,
Yeah imagine me commenting on the cost to watch a stream involving the team I support.
49 minutes ago, Kapowzer said:Shall we just put this £15 down to yet another instance of Catholics in Scotland are persecuted?
Of course you had to bring up religion and make a snide comment about Catholics
How very predictable sadly
