A Hibs players tested positive for Covid, no idea what this means in relation to the game

Well that's the point. At any point it could come out "actually this happened on that night." Should Hibs then have points deducted?
None of the players admitted to the night out until the positive tests. It's not a stretch to suggest other players have been a bit creative with the truth, no?
So let’s just not comment on anything in case we know every single fact under the sun, sounds like a great way to exist.

You literally don't know how factual your sentence is there though? That's what you assume happened.
Neither do you, chief, so why bring it up?

The SPFL can't just hand out a punishment which is not in the rulebook to set an example.
Bear in mind Hibs players were out the same weekend. They were fortunate enough to not fail a test.
4 players (2 of them that supposedly share a flat) and going for a pizza is a bit different to 8 boys going on a union street pub crawl.

What are your views on Mark McNulty as a concept?
Decent finish on him but I really doubt he’d ever score more than 10 goals in a season at this level, he did well with us during his first loan spell but most of his goals were penalties, really flattered to deceive last season.

Not sure whether Nisbet will be fit or not but suspect it’ll be similar to last week, possibly Allan dropping out as he’s not kicked a ball yet.

Any ideas when the verdict on the Nawty Shites of Old Aberdeen is due?

I was wondering how they were going to sort out the points this season for the 1 legged ties. This seems the fairest solution as it would've been unfair for the lower ranked countries in the qualifiers to lose out on half the available points. I don't know if it makes much sense to have the new system in place beyond the qualifiers though, unless the group stages were to be 3 games instead of 6. It makes more sense to me to revert back to 2 points for a win from the group stage onwards if it's no longer single legged ties.
Yup, that’s only for the one legged ties, goes back to normal from the play off stage

I believe the points are slightly different this year for one legged ties.
W=3 D=2 & L=1, whereas previously it was W=2 D=1 & L=0
These are obviously halved in the qualifying rounds.
So Celtics win last night takes us to 1.5 points and with 5 teams in Europe that gives us 0.3 to kick off.
We’ll probably find the 1 point for a loss will help lower nations slightly as it assumes effectively the team qualifying to win one game and draw the other when results where teams were knocked out were more often than not 2 x victories, especially against the lower nations.

At this point I feel like I’ll rock up at the ticket office to buy a ticket and Derek McInnes will swoop in and convince me to go to Pittodrie instead.

I watched the game in the boozer armed with a few pints and came on here to check the game was as dull as I remember and I’m pleased to have had it confirmed.
I’ve also developed an extra chromosome now due to Cauliflower HMFC’s posts so thanks for that.

Agree. Wasn’t it then who broke the Adam Jackson leaving news 2 weeks before the club? They knew about Lennon throwing a chair at David Gray that Adam Bogdan dived and tipped onto Thomas Agyepong and ruined his season before it even happened, I heard.

Tomorrow night on Sky Sports it’s the clash of the good natured clubs as the irresistible force of Hibernian take on the immovable object of Motherwell.
5:30pm kick off is great because it allows me to hopefully be nice and pished by kick off time.
For no reason other than surely we won’t win our first 4 games on the bounce I’m saying a draw which wouldn’t be the end of the world tbf.
Stephen O’Donnell likely to go straight in?
Will the best 2 forwards in the world continue to cause havoc?Keep scrolling to find out.

Could watch at Dens from the Law with some supercharged binoculars, other than that it’s fairly closed off.

Any decent vantage points to watch games from illegally? Asking for a mate

The Football should definitely be cancelled however we will allow strangers who aren’t being tested like footballers are into indoor venues to watch football....

I always feel that in games against Hibs it is the team which scores the most goals who will win the match. Either that or it ends in a draw.
2-1 United.
Is God back from injury?
What happens if there are a plethora of own goals?

Not if incubation period is 14 days.: like the rest of us, if we are in close contact with someone who tests positive, we isolate. The ability to have a test makes no difference.Wasn’t sure if there’d be an exception for football (ie teams being able to travel to Aberdeen to play games etc)

Surely if the 6 that are isolating that haven’t tested positive get tested and they come back negative they’ll be able to play?

We definitely lost this game because of the pitch

Club coverage is always going to be a bit naff but at least its Hibs naff. Tanner wasn't too bad, but when he corrected "David Gray" to "Sir David Gray", while entirely correct, seemed a bit forced.
I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to the Motherwell game for more premium quality output.
Tanner is a fanny imo, he kept getting information wrong, clearly hadn’t done any research and just came across as a bit of a tool.
Each to their own but it wasn’t great for me.
