Airdrie probably should be lower but since we sent them half our youth team I can’t help but take an interest in them and want them to succeed.

It sounds like we had a fairly similar experience. I emailed our SLO when the idea was mooted in October 2021, I got no response and 6 months later Hibs released a statement saying they strongly supported the introduction of VAR, our at the time manager Shaun Maloney was also moaning about the lack of it in the press. I got no response and after a VAR decision went against us I sent another email, probably in a bit of a mood so I could have worded it better with a clear head but like yourself I was utterly bemused by the running of the club and wanted to let off steam. This time I copied in the CEO, in fairness I did get a response back but the email didn’t address my issues really and also did contain a bit which completely contradicts the clubs position and to be honest I felt it was just lip service to a unhappy customer. Obviously Ron Gordon is mentioned in this but this was sent long before his passing. The CEO did offer a phone call to discuss it which I declined, I didn’t think it was going to achieve anything to take it any further at the time. I’m happy to contact the club again regarding my views on the matter, I don’t think I would withdraw financial support mind you, going to the football for me isn’t about supporting the club as much as it is the chance to see friends and have a laugh and that’s not something I’d want to give up.

Would love to keep them but can’t see it, with the caveat that Triantis isn’t allowed in his own penalty box under any circumstances.

Adam Le Fondre surely has to be our starting #9 going forward? Does far more than Vente.

If you think a moan about a refereeing decision and a complaint about a shite defender costing us a goal is an attempt at “analysis” then you take life way to seriously. If it’s all Hibs supporters fault for everything bad that happens like you suggest maybe you should simply stop being one of them.

Complaint is nothing to do with the time, the complaint is with the fact County scored directly from a throw in where the ball was headed out of play by a County player. I am no Montgomery fan by any stretch and we were shite tonight but that’s yet another time where refereeing mistakes have cost us.

Yet another game where the officials have cost us points, incredible . How the f**k Fish never got that off the line is beyond me, utter joke of a defender, must have single handedly cost us 10 points this season with goals he’s been to blame for.

How grimly predictable, we are always utterly shite when we play up in Dingwall midweek, we’ve only lost up there once when it’s not been played midweek. Jordan Obita is a fucking brutal footballer, genuinely would play Stevenson.

Considering we only have one player on loan from Bournemouth and he’s been one of our best players we’ve had in the past few years this is quite a reach.

Now you mention it, the 2 Edinburgh clubs that love the Conservative & Unionist party getting decisions from a group of people that contain the leader of said party in Scotland . Rangers & Celtic clearly have links to the party too .

I usually try and be quite reasoned and understanding with referees, I have a colleague that does it and know it’s a hard job. However, this is happening too often for it to be a coincidence. The non-penalty against Aberdeen, Hearts’ ghost penalty, Celtic’s two nonsense penalties plus Boyle’s “dive” and now this, you’ve got to laugh. I’m not suggesting there’s a conspiracy or an agenda against Hibs however some referees clearly have a dislike for Hibs or there must be something because for this to happen to us so often in a short space of time is beyond thinking, I don’t think there’s ever been a period of time following football where we’ve been on the wrong end of so many consecutive high profile decisions. Just like all the games I mentioned we were the better team and worthy of winning, but once again we have our hand tied behind our back by those incompetent b*****ds. Remember folk thought VAR would sort this out?

Saw that last week, booked up for a few days in Split before travelling up to Zagreb on the Friday night. Wasn’t massively impressed with Zagreb when I went however have been to Zadar and it was unbelievable, Split is just down the coast so it’ll be good to see somewhere new. Suspect the weather will be better in Split too.

Bizarrely the 3 matches against Dundee have probably been our best 3 performances under Montgomery, even the 0-0 game we should have been out of sight.

HSL’s are being reduced a lot more than the Gordon’s in terms of proportions.

Can understand HSLs vote in honesty, they’re being fucked over with this and their already diluted share is being majorly reduced whereas the Gordon’s isn’t. I would certainly rather HSL retained more shares than the Gordon’s. Plus under the current regime we’re just pissing away money for no success, time will tell if Foleys money improves anything but I don’t trust the people in charge at the moment to use it wisely. We’ve a far bigger budget than Kilmarnock, Dundee & St Mirren yet being outperformed by them this season due to these idiots so my faith that this will change anything unless changes are made in the boardroom is non existent.

Anyone got any idea when we’re likely to hear the venues for Croatia/Poland? Looking to get flights booked before prices fly up (pardon the pun) and it’s proving difficult to ensure we leave enough time to potentially get from one end of the country to another for a flight home.

He’d have been a level above us if it hadn’t been for injuries I reckon, superb player even with them. A massive Hibs fan aswell like you say.
