Never said you were, just making it clear it would be indefensible to do so.

Glad you were here to let everyone know that a claim nobody was making was completely indefensible.

Also, for anyone on this forum who even so much as *thinks* about claiming that The Fratellis are the greatest band that ever lived - just don't, alright? Fucking don't.

  2. Dykes is a decent player, but I can't imagine him fitting into a Mark Warburton side from a tactical sense.

I probably would have picked Helander over Balogun for this match anyway - Dykes wants a centre back that's going to go and be aggressive with him. That allows him to use his strength and skill to take advantage and turn a defender. Balogun is very, very aggressive, whereas Helander has already learned this lesson and handled Dykes comfortably in the 2-0 win last season.

    I'll go 2-0 Rangers.

I don't get why Hearts think they should have special dispensation from every other lower league club and train before all the other clubs. Are they seeking a sporting advantage? or have they just completely forgotten they are a lower league club now?

"Doing extra training" is a perfectly permissible sporting advantage, in the same way that carrying out opposition analysis is for example.

He is the highest profile player at Scotland’s 2nd biggest club, who is a figure of hate due to being a nasty c**t on the pitch so then he’s became an easy target off it, for all sorts of abuse.

Much in the same way as Neil Lennon, only difference was he played for the countrys biggest club and some of the abuse he took was sectarian.

Certainly. Much work to be done on both fronts by all.

You all seem genuinely surprised by it, you could hardly meet a nicer person, on and off the pitch, than scott Sinclair yet he was subjected to racist abuse at ibrox, racists will be racists, they only see skin colour.

Oh absolutely, it's just startling the sheer number of racist incidents Morelos has been subjected to now.

Particularly surprising when, as you say, racists only see skin colour.

Absolutely no reason why anyone would hate him for his on field antics, nope, none. Maybe you should log back into celticstar.com and see what they think.

I completely understand disliking a player because he's snide on the park, is very good and is just one of those players you hate when he plays against you.

None of it justifies some of the reactions to Morelos being racially abused yet again, though.

I think it's more the idea that people won't be as likely not to buy an individual game pass, based on the insight that away fans don't want to hear radio staunch doing the commentary. Which is a fair assumption as biased commentary will no doubt be a factor in a lot of people rejecting the service.

However it's by no means the only reason, so it might not have as big an impact as they think.

If I'm honest, I think the main motivating factor was that an upgrade of RTV was sorely needed to professionalise the service and Tyldesley was a decent commentator with a decent rep who was available. Same with Emma Dodds.
