Truth is look at Gilmour or Karamoko Dembele and the issue for them is they are trying to break into clubs under extraordinary local pressure to win the league every season. It's a hard environment to break into but Scottish football must do better.

They do the same with VAR. This season is the best season to do it and it still has issues. The problem is that it doesn't solve "wrong" decisions but breaks the game for actual stadium visiting fans.

In the grand scheme of things you are talking about 50-100k a year which is good relative to most people but not elite level footballers. The issue is that many of the Scottish footballers who are most likely to develop are those who left Scottish football quickest. Billy Gillmour etc.

They will in general favour the larger sides with bigger fanbases and audiences. Ultimately a big part of the Scottish issue is that our fanbases are less evenly distributed than in England. We have two large teams, maybe 3-4 biggish teams and then a lot of relatively small teams. It's all about viewing figures.

The whole point of the system is that it's about getting the most serious incidents that the referee genuinely missed. It's not about re-refereeing games. This fails that test and is therefore the incorrect decision.

Yes. I'd like there to be more but 4th and 5th getting through 3 qualifiers with 2 unseeded isn't an easy task. It's easier than the EL qualifiers now but not loads easier.

Yeah exactly. Tough times but ultimately could be something good. You can see the same arrogance we had in our 9IAR in Celtic fans and ultimately that's all come to a head this season.

Aberdeen's coefficient might be enough to get into Pot 3 but it's likely that everyone else would be Pot 4. I do think we will get 3 teams in groups of some kind next season but 4th and 5th place won't make it imo.

Not sure most of them will know about that to be honest. Far more pertinent matters to be angry about. Supposedly Instagram likes are REALLY important.
