It's very difficult to say what his actual role at the club is, but I believe he's involved with the coaching to a large extent. He was a manager at a premiership team a couple of months ago, do you think he's come to Falkirk with intentions of staying away from coaching? Also, appointing him as a DOF makes very little sense when Martindale was the one who made all the decisions on who Livingston signed. Holt has very little experience of player recruitment and that in itself would suggest that he's not at Falkirk to work away from the dugout.

Well the whole season has been a shit show, we've certainly not improved since Holt has been there.

Look at this message I wrote at the start of January. I seemed to spot something that most Falkirk fans couldn't, this comment was very unpopular at the time. Does anyone disagree with me now? Gary Holt is a complete clown and it was so obviously a ridiculous decision to bring him in, but yet again we have to wait until the situation is beyond desperate until most fans spot something is wrong.

I'm not wanting to piss on the parade but lets remember who we were playing against yesterday, another poor part-time team who are playing far too many games at the moment. That performance really didn't give me that much comfort. If we are on the front foot against Cove and get a result I'll be pleased, but I think we'll be negative against them.

That's not entirely true, but Falkirk certainly have a habit of being run very poorly. People love to shit on George Craig but he oversaw one of the most successful periods for Falkirk and he was genuinely a fan. You can complain about Craig all you want, but however bad you think he and that board were it still doesn't compare to how incredibly incompetent our current board is. To some up how stupid the board think the fans are you just have to look at the Lang situation. She stepped away from her initial role in an attempt to con the fans into thinking she had no part to play with the club, even though she actually remained a member of the board.

It's amazing now that fans are actually identifying Gary Deans as a fraud, it was something I pointed out months ago. I actually find it torturous listening to him talk, he clearly thinks the fans are stupid and his tactic is just to say what the fans would say and want to hear. I want him miles away from the club.

And that is why we can't see out the season with dumb and dumber. I can't believe how low Falkirk have stooped at this stage and there's just no words to summarise it. The fundamental problem is the club is run horrifically. Some fans could spot this earlier than most and we shouldn't have to wait for things to be damaged beyond repair before we can identify this.

This resonates with lots of fans and particularly me. I went to two home games last season because I'm not putting anymore money into the club until there is a complete overhaul. As someone said earlier, we could have the revenue of the bigot brothers and still be shite because of how incompetent our board is. Teams like Livingston and Hamilton are performing to a substantially higher standard with less money to play with. I don't think it's fair that our fans should put our hard earned money to a club that is run by people who don't give a shit about the fans, who are horrendously incompetent, and some could be branded as conmen.

Very misleading. I went on the wind-up and a few of you couldn't handle it. Also, try and find me saying that Falkirk have a higher attendance than Dundee, because I never said that. That's just trying to justify why you, and some other Dees, are disliking some of my comments rather than admit you're overly sensitive to piss-taking and have a grudge because I've wound you up over nonsense.

Yeah, and the board aren't competent enough to resolve the situation. God knows what gives you the impression we should have any faith in those running the club. you actually think M&M are doing quite a good job which is concerning in itself haha.

Tbh I seem to have the same type of creeps who are now on an attack on my profile, two Dundee fans who are clearly bitter about some comments I made weeks ago which they evidently haven't recovered from. I too don't take anything personal on this, but it's a shame that some posters have a lack of intelligence and rationale to realise that it's football and to not take it seriously.

I said nothing was changing for the better at the club a couple of months ago and was told I was on the windup here. It's very clear that nothing positive is happening behind the scenes at the club. I stand by the comment that Gary Deans only says what the fans want to hear, he's no good for the club at all. It's just impossible to have any positivity about Falkirk.

They really are a mentally challenged bunch on that COYB page. The ones who thought Campbell was legitimate are the same fans who backed McKinnon when it was clear he was hopeless. It's the same fans who say "keep the faith" with dumb and dumber.

I would've expected a massive club like Ayr to have won this one, must be cup shock of the decade. That's a big name out of the Scottish cup now, it's anyone's cup now.
