Ever heard the proverb "a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing"? Holt may have more knowledge than Deans but I don't think that actually makes him a good candidate to be the one making this huge decision, mainly because Holt is totally clueless. Well I certainly don't want a tried and failed manager which applies to a lot of the potential candidates.

The names that are coming up really aren't filling me with any confidence. It's also depressing to know that the dimwit Gary Holt is the one selecting the manager.

Exactly, it's just Deans continuing to say what the fans want to hear. It was clear to all the fans that M&M weren't up to the job even when we were miles clear at the top. Yet at that time Deans, Holt and the Rawlins publicly supported the work of "David and Lee". So it clearly wasn't that obvious to Deans despite the appalling football we were playing. I really hope no one has been taken in by this statement. The new dumb and dumber at Falkirk is Deans and Holt.

Thank god, some common sense from someone who doesn't support Falkirk. What is so difficult to understand that if you have more fans then you have more money and therefore more potential to bring in better players? That is why we are entitled to feel very let down by the people running the club. Fan base is more important in Scotland as opposed to other countries since there's no huge tv deals here. It's obviously financially beneficial to be in the premiership but it's not significant compared to the English premier league. Bournemouth have a small fanbase but were able to compete in the premier league for a good number of years because the tv money is more significant to a club in England than fanbase. That's not the case in Scotland. Celtic and Rangers completely dominate because of their massive fanbase. Falkirk are currently underachieving to an astonishing rate and that is why our fans are right to point out how clubs with smaller fanbases like Hamilton, Livingston and St Johnston are way outperforming us. These clubs are run very well and are doing fantastically well with the resources available to them.

Well it's about as bad as it gets, but that Dundee lad is great to toy with, even in this dark time.

I've been saying this recently, we do well to have a good local fanbase considering we're on the doorstep of Glasgow. We have to promote the club and create some form of entertaining football to pull a younger generation into supporting Falkirk. We used to be renowned for playing eye-catching football and performing to at least a decent standard. If kids are watching this dross now, then how on earth do you stop them wanting to watch Rangers and Celtic? Gary Holt certainly isn't the answer because he has no problem with playing shit football and he's our director of football. It's just so depressing.

He's getting a hell of a lot wrong on here tonight. He's come on here trying to take the piss out of Falkirk and he's managed to get absolutely ripped. That takes some doing because we're a very easy target at the moment.
