  1. Relax. @Arch Stanton is a sound poster. He posted a microsecond after I did and someone called him out for it. Daft. It’s not reasonable to expect everyone reads every post. Let’s all just get along.
  2. Sooner rather than later I hope. If he is half as good as the reports suggest he might turn round your season. My best mate is a Motherwell fan and, for his sake, I’d hate to see you going down.
  3. He might have but he hasn’t played enough senior football to be able to say one way or another. When is he due back?
  4. Watched the highlights again. If Van Veen had been playing I reckon he would have got a hat trick. Shame about that.
  5. I don’t mind Motherwell. Their manager comes across as a total knob but a lot of their fans are decent guys. I really hope they are able to find a couple of goal scorers to help them secure the play off spot at the end of the season. They are too good to go down.
  6. From BBC website’s match report of St Mirren’s victory today at Fir Park: The defeat is only Kettlewell's fourth as Motherwell manager - with all three coming at Fir Park.
  7. Sorry to be missing this. The league’s two form teams so it should be close. Money on a 96th minute O’Hara winner.
  8. I’ve lived and worked in Edinburgh and Middlesbrough. Give me Middlesbrough any day. Salt and sauce in their chips FFS.
  9. Kettlewell is a smart cookie. He will know the Sevco game is winnable so I expect him to rest most of his first team for the game on the 16th.
  10. I’ve just watched the “highlights” and haven’t read every post on this thread so apologies if this has already been said: Hearts look absolutely shite and Motherwell were lucky to come up against such shite opponents. Reminded me of two one-legged men in an arse kicking contest. Awful stuff.
  11. Have you read his partner’s posts on the Kilmarnock thread? Honest and open and entirely understandable. A young man away from his young family - no wonder his form dropped dramatically. With this in mind it was an “one off incident”. A fluke goal, just as unpredictable as the Snodgrass cross/shot last season. Zac is a good goalkeeper and highly thought of by our management and Middlesbrough’s management. He deserves our full support. We’ve been tremendously lucky with our goalkeepers in recent years. Hemming is the next in a great run.
  12. BBC says: Substitute Stav Nahmani pops up just yards from goal to nod in a late, late equaliser. St Mirren are heading to the top of the table! I’m sure they mean “remain top of the table”
  13. Feel this would be a move driven by desperation by the player or his agent. He came to Scotland from Australia as a stepping stone to English football. A move to Aberdeen would delay that by two years and a lot can happen to a footballer’s career in two years.
