  1. I hear you and what you say makes sense... but the fact remains Robbo did want another striker.
  2. We should have killed Aberdeen off. We are dominating teams and not doing that. Just look at our last three matches. Aberdeen were the poorest team we've faced and they nicked a draw. We can argue about VAR (and it was shocking today) but to be honest you can see why Robbo was so desperate for another striker. We could have a re-run of last season where our percentage of chances converted is amongst the lowest in the league. I know we've scored seven goal in three league games but the amount of chances we are creating is frightening (for the opposition). It's been a long time since we've looked this good going forward. As for Aberdeen, could have been a bad day at the office but they looked really poor. Their midfield was non-existent today which is probably the main reason Duk and Miovski were getting so het up (Duk could easily have been red carded on that performance today). They weren't even getting scraps to feed off of.
  3. Any football who claims they are not delusional is only displaying how delusional they are. It's a Catch 22 - there is no way around it. The more reasonable among us have accepted that.
  4. All football fans are delusional - we are fanatics (literally). A point stolen is always sweet especially for the seethe from opposing fans but the three Aberdeen players running across the pitch to goad the Northbank was just daft and could have caused serious bother. It wasn't necessary and isn't a good look. Played Hibs, Dundee and Aberdeen and have seven points on the board. Knocked Motherwell out of the cup. All in we should be happy when the disappointment dies down. Aberdeen played Livi, Celtic and St Mirren two points on the board and definite late McInnes vibes from the way you were set up and played today. But in saying that, your new strip looks really smart.
  5. True. In terms of potential Hearts really should be the third placed team in Scotland but in reality it's Aberdeen. There is just something about Hearts propensity to shoot themselves in the foot at nearly every given opportunity that stops them from really cementing that spot.
  6. Maybe we're being harsh. He's clearly still pinning for the glory days of Cruyffesque Alexander Ball.
  7. Good comeback by the Dons tonight. Hope they go through next week given Hearts and Hibs seem to have shat the bed. It'll be interesting to see the team sheet on Sunday - does Robson go strong or does he rest key players? Does the need for a league win outweigh a chance of European Glory getting pumped by a selection of European teams none of us have heard of? Heavy is the head that wears the sheepskin crown. The only thing we know for certain is that Jamie McGrath will score a penalty.
  8. And then we have an example of a Motherwell's fan's Socratic wit. Enjoy your night lads.
  9. That and the added bonus of saying where you're from not being confused with an inquiry into the health of the questioner's female parent.
  10. I agree it's reckless and he definitely goes through the player but I don't see the both feet off the ground bit. In saying that- it is a yellow. I would like to see Paul McGinn's back because at the time that looked worse but on a replay might not look as bad. I suppose the main gripe is Kettlewell going on about how he had seen it back several times and it was the worst tackle in the history of fitba.
  11. The point is that Carson (apparently) had a complete temper tantrum and acted in a very disrespectful way towards the club, the manager and his teammates. He was offered a chance to apologise and move on but instead doubled down a demanded a move despite having signed a contract extension last season. He then acted like a complete f*d when Dundee got their penalty and effectively tried to psych out Hemmings (with big Joe's help - lest we forget). That left a very sour taste in the mouths of St Mirren fans but what made it glorious was the way it totally backfired on him. I totally support his right to act like a complete p***k but what the complete p***ks of this world forget is that their right to be a p***k is counter balanced by the right of everyone else to say that they are acting like a p***k. Carson's own actions brought this on him as could be seen by the reception he received compared to Big Joe who was applauded by the St Mirren fans. From the outside this might just look like fans giving an ex-player a ridiculously hard time but it's really not.
  12. Pages of sh*te, when it it was a very simple game to explain. First half St Mirren totally dominant. Second half an even contest that Dundee probably just shaded. Overall the score reflected that and it was a fair result.
  13. Kick them when they fall down, as I'm sure you would agree.
  14. Because a Morrissey Avatar just exudes style and class.
