v for vandetta 8/10 quite a good blockbuster natalie portman and stephen rea are both good in it

everything is illuminated was really good 8/10 the film has everything from a deranged guide dog to holocaust survival

the thing with cloverfield and i have never had this with a film before i hated all the characters from the get go and nothing that happened in the film made me change my mind. that said the film has worked because we are still talking about it on here. the devil wears prada 5/10 total chick flick although i resisted the urge to put my foot through the telly so not all bad

CLOVERFIELD hmmm 4/10 what we have here is an average monster trashes big city movie told from the perspective of a very shakey cam corder i didn't like the characters or the story behind why they travel across the city. the evacuation scenes and the destruction are very familiar to the amateur footage from 9/11. in my opinion you see to much of the creature but the early stages of destruction of the city are quite good. too sum up this film thinks it is a lot smarter than it actually is

dead end road movie horror starring ray wise 6/10

aliens is fucking awesome end of story as for cloverfield i refuse to see it as that smug w**k that is dragging out lost is behind it so i am expecting it to be pish

stranger than fiction weird film where will ferril finds out he is a character in a book that is being written 6/10 gets a bonus point for maggie gylenhal

rocky balboa twas fucking great 8/10 very much in the spirit of the original a little bit short for my liking though

28 weeks later lacked the power and charm of the original which reinvented the zombie genre. alot more gore but still good 7/10

48 HRS 80's cop odd couple buddy movie 6.5/10 gains half a point for having luthor from the warriors in it

the exorcism of emily rose a court room film based on supposed demonic possesion 6/10 firewall pile of shite thriller about a bank employee's family are held for ransom 3/10

the bourne ultimatum fast paced with some big scenes liked the bit in waterloo where you could see some passengers do a double take as matt damon charges by 8/10 as good as the supremacy but both trail behind the identity as overall films

batman begins the first half is about bruce wayne and how he becomes batman the second half is your standard super hero action movie a ripping good yarn as they say 8.5/10 looking forward to the dark knight next year to see what they have done with the joker

the day after an 80's tv movie about the effects of a russian nuclear attack on kansas despite the cheese tastic special effects the film gets it's message across quite well and i imagine it would have been some kind of tv event in it's time 6/10 it even has steve guttenberg in it before his police academy fame

the thing is a cinematic classic the best bit is when they are all tied to the couch getting tested

a cry in the dark 7/10 film about baby stealing dingo. meryl streep is really rather good in it plus it features a cameo from neighbours star joe mangle.
