Pleased to see Gary Oliver join Falkirk. I look forward to booing him, as is the norm, over the upcoming season.
I see the Bairns have also signed Stephen McGinn from Kilmarnock and Sean Mackie from Hibs...

Sure he actually played as a trialist last pre-season but got a better offer from ICT.
At the time, I was glad - in hindsight, we could’ve done with him!
That is correct....

Broadfoot has left Inverness to be nearer the Central Belt, hopefully a player we are looking at.
Already knocked back Queens last season after a trial game in the Championship so would doubt he'd end up at Palmerston in League One.

At least he'll not be playing against Queens next season. He had a shaky start at Palmerston before improving greatly.

How was Darragh IOConnor last season, was he the ball playing centre half on loan from Motherwell..
That's him. He wasn't great the first few games but ended up with pretty solid displays.

Ironically, something you've failed to ever produce.
Really?

I'd also like East to re-sign with a view to playing a centre-back role. It's difficult to judge whether or not he would be a decent central strike option due to the relatively few games he's played for us as a No.9. AJ for some unknown reason seemed to see him primarily as a winger, despite having other wing options available at the time, where he was bang average, and then even more bizarrely Cameron would probably still have been picked as main striker if we had Harry Kane on the books when East could probably have done a better job.
East certainly carries a goal threat at set pieces which makes me think he could do a job up front but I don't think he's the sort of player who's going to get into double goal figures over a season. If played up front I see him more as a Sean O'Connor type who is physical, can win the ball and provide assists. I certainly don't see him as a first choice left-back. Left side of a back three maybe at a push, but never on the extreme left of a back four/five.
A very decent post...

Because he's a pish striker.

Personally I would revert East back to a striker if he remains at Palmerston.

Can we relegate the thread but leave some of the posters in the Championship?

Because he was mocking the practice; not endorsing it and genuinely looking to join in.

Because he was making a joke about people constantly pressing for us to re-sign goalkeepers who once played for us.
Were you genuinely whoooshed or have I been, in explaining it?
Oh right I see. Well on that front why not have realistic prospects like Lee Robinson for example...

He's been Queens part-time GK coach this season, as he has a full time job.

Thomas is a talented player but he certainly flatters to deceive. Fans continually rave about him but he keeps on dropping down the leagues season after season. Didn’t exactly set the heather on fire at EEP despite playing a few good games.
Missed a good part of the season thru injury, although he plays well in fits and starts. From Celtic's Academy to Motherwell, Kilmarnock, Queen of the South (loan spells), Dumbarton (loan spells) then Dunfermline and now a pre contract with Queen's Park he seems to need a sustained run in a team to gain a good run of form.
