Of course you do. Would be a bit weird not wanting your team to get promotion.0 -

I think he was probably saving it.
The Ayr player didn't really get hold of the shot. A bit of a sore one.
East, a striker changed to a centre back this season. There was a lot more than that own goal relegated Queens.
Blame the Directors and AJ/SC....

Only positive from today was sending Gibson into a meltdown when we got our equaliser. Incredibly unpleasant guy and I hope he’s fucking miserable tonight.
Apart from that it was shite. End to end game but zero quality from both teams. After we missed our sitters in the first half you could tell we weren’t scoring. Zero confidence amongst the players and when they have a chance they’re wanting an extra two or three touches instead of hitting the ball. Defensively we were a shambles and every ball over the top of us put us into panic mode.
Partick need to win next week so we won’t be facing any weakened side and they’ll be right on top of us. Only benefit to that is if we win we can potentially deny them the playoffs.
At the minute I’d still make us favourites for ninth given the fixture ourselves and Dunfermline still have to play. QOS looked fucked after our goal and I can’t see them troubling any team when they have nothing to play for.A bit harsh slating Gibson. I hope Queens go back up and Ayr get relegated next season.

What a shite, but fitting, finale.
Over the whole season Queens just weren't good enough.
Worst run of the season with WG/GM in charge losing 6 games before the Inverness match.
AJ/SC and the BOD should be taking the brunt of this obviously.

Not surprised....

Lee Connolly will surely score against us as he has done in every game between the two sides this season.
He was out injured and has only been a shadow of the player from earlier in the season...

Are you being serious? He’s already said he can’t be manager and captainWhy hand it to East though for the sake of a handful of games until the end of the season.

Maybe because Todd was indeed out injured?
I was angling at why East? You'd think Gibson would've stepped up...

Noticed in a few games Wullie absolutely blasting various individuals - usually the defence or GK- really blowing his top. For me that’s the captains job on the park. I don’t think the psychology’s been right the last few games. It also sometimes feels like every move has to go through him. Makes us feel very one sided at times.
I’m not sure what the solution is but if Wullie gets the manager role next season I think he needs to hang up his boots. If he wants to keep playing I think he needs to become a team player again. No one has queried why Euan East was suddenly given the captain's armband due to Josh Todd's injury...

Are you sure Rhys McCabe is his star man
What's Rhys McCabe got to do with anything, apart from leaving Queens for Airdrieonians. He could sign him back at Queens...

Names? It is all the same journey men managers that float about that level. Only Keltt thought outside the box.
Well someone with ambition. What about Ian Murray at Airdrieonians?

I think if WG was to be given the job he has to retire from playing. You can't do both. But he is still a very good player he may not be ready to finish playing as in best shape of his career. He has been left with AJ squad. It will be interesting to see if he gets the job.
WG should keep playing and Queens should go for an experienced manager at League One level.

I see Kenny Miller is in temporary charge of Falkirk as their manager is away back to the USA.

Only been to Arbroath once to see Queens when Stevie Mallan 2 mins and an Andy Thomson double in the 2nd half seen the Doonhamers win 3-0 in April 1994.
Thomson was the first league player to 30 goals that season edging Mark Hateley to the £1000 and case of Champagne from the Daily Record. He'd been out injured for 4 weeks or so and stuck on 29 goals until that day.

That's a narrow little section of the table we'll be aiming for each season, whereby we're not even pushing to make the top 4, but are confidently steering well clear of the bottom two slots.
I hope we can get it just right year on year.
I suppose the play-offs are good in respect to having something to compete for until the end of the season.
Remember in the Eighties when there were 14 or more clubs on each league and teams having a lot of dead rubbers towards the end of the season.

Must be having a laugh about the BoD! Been on a shoestring budget for a fair few seasons now. Half Million in the black and not opening their wallets to form a decent squad....
