  1. Oh the irony of creating a topic bitching about an ex-player after his new team have won their first six (6!) games of the new season, and calling someone else embarrassing. Best leave it there, we all saw how embarrassing the Sevco mutants were when complaining about an opposition player a few weeks ago, not a good look. Anyway Fifers, enjoy your Saturday night.
  2. Defeated before a ball is kicked, very possibly so. Down to lack of confidence, direction, form, a system or a natural forward in the starting line-up, definitely. But all of that is completely different from a team not trying. Which I believe is what you’re suggesting. And is what I’m suggesting isn’t the case here. There’s a lot of issues with our side I grant you, but they’re not a side that’s downed tools.
  3. Maybe I'm watching a different team to several others on here. But I don't see a team full of folk who've given up or don't care or are going through the motions. I do see a side bereft of confidence, direction and a clear way to try and play. All of that lies at the door of the manager. He's done. Decent fella or not, he's got to go. I agree that we were awful today, didn't do any of the things we needed to do to get a result and the frustrating thing is that EF didn't have to be a good side to beat us. They're awful as well, which says a lot for us... I think folk need to calm down with Carswell... His sending off is very frustrating and yes he should know better, but if you'd spent an entire 90 minutes getting baffling decision after baffling decision given against your team (not that the referee had any bearing on the result before anyone starts...) then I can see where the frustration comes in. His actions aren't the actions of a man who's given up or anything, there's fight there, as is there is with most of the other players as well. The discipline aspect too, while players have to be professional enough to avoid putting themselves in positions where these newer refs card them for anything, a lack of discipline is also something that lies with the manager as well for me. We now have 7 huge games to try and save ourselves and the first of those needs to start with a new manager. Faz doesn't seem to have any new ideas, he was almost motionless when the second goal went in today and the players don't look as if they're playing for him. He looks done. And yes, while Faz will carry the can, the players have to take professional responsibility too but we can't see the end of the season out with Faz, otherwise we'll not avoid a play off, we'll be straight down without passing go or collecting £200!
  4. It was more the tone of the opinion that struck me as being very QP
  5. Huge game for both this. Heartened by our recent couple of performances and running Dundee close in the cup. A win for us would be massive worth noting that we have top 4 opponents 4 times between now and the end of the season, Clyde have too 4 6 times.
  6. Thought stokes was decent the other night but agreed on orsi despite that he does work hard
  7. This surely hasn’t become a chat about QP fans being offensive or loud??? it was like a morgue the other night, and that’s with the team getting success and punching above their weight. Embarrassing
  8. They did get everything from the referee on Saturday and they still weren’t happy!!!
  9. Not a chance we’ll be getting a fee, it’ll be a mutual agreement
  10. Absolutely. Given how stinking the referee was for us yesterday, I’ll happily take being on the right end of a potentially wrong decision. It gave us a point we deserved in the end to be fair. I did think it was a penalty but I might change that once I see it again.
  11. There was definitely contact. 100%. whether it’s a penalty or not can be debated (I mean it was but it’s not of the stonewall variety but it was the correct decision) but it’s embarrassing to lie and say there was no contact and he fell to the floor, as if nobody was around. Amateur stuff
  12. Jeez that’s embarrassing. Talk about blue-tinted specs!
  13. Can’t get fit. Or won’t get fit. Big difference there and I’m far from convinced.
  14. Thought we actually played well today. Ending in 8 men is a joke given how the red cards came about. gegans was a joke, Buchanan’s you’ll see some give a second yellow some not, McLean’s is embarrassing if he’s said clown and been sent off for it thought the ref was terrible for both really, we can be pleased with how we played. We’ll win more than we’ll lose if we play like that. airdries trolling tonight is fair game. We’d be the same if it was us. All the bluster for the goals is fair too in the circumstances. Just happens it’s bitten us tonight but these things are like roundabouts so it’ll be Airdries turn to be on the end of it not too soon and everyone else will be happy and be able to point and laugh, it happens
  15. Queen’s Park Alloa Falkirk Cove Rangers Montrose Dumbarton Airdrie Peterhead East Fife Clyde
  16. Yeah that’ll be the only reason. Not chance of winning things, money on offer, ambition or working under someone that’s not Danny Lennon.
  17. Was it Liam Buchanan? I seem to recall a similar story.
  18. I believe Stenhousemuir have a similar thing with Hibernian.
  19. First and last perhaps, but I wouldn’t wish the middle three on anyone.
  20. Apologies but I’m not getting this ‘terrible timing’ aspect. What about this time is terrible? It’s the end of the season when moves are made. Pre playoffs or something I could understand but I don’t get that the timing is awful now.
