  1. Talbot , they won the most significant trophy at the level and don’t have to play all the poor teams next year in the LL.
  2. As long as you don’t do walking away mate. Stick with it.
  3. Kilmarnock is east ayrshire The cosmopolitan part, I will give you that. It’s taking a while for your replies, is the dial up not working that well tonight?
  4. Yes did you not read what he said Sorry what I should have said is “has the internet got as far as East Ayrshire yet” Fixed it for you !!!
  5. This is a very fair point and fair play to the lads from both teams who did turn up. I feel sorry for the boys from Blantyre.
  6. Have Yoker managed to play some friendlies in prep for the Junior Cup final in two weeks time. Thanks below.
  7. Might work okay for Kilmarnock games but not for a Junior cup final imo Has contactless not got as far as East Ayrshire yet.
  8. What I will say is it’s great to see the ecumenical make up of the Blantyre team. 7 of the squad shows the impact of a real community club.
  9. I’m sorry but was there even a book opened on this game by any bookmaker. If there was they would have pulled it as soon as all the prior rumours started flying about.
  10. A significant number of people who watch WOSFL teams support teams in the SPFL. That’s a fact, many like the chance to watch their local team playing, full of lads they know. So what they support a big team as well, they pay money to get in and spend money on pies and bovril. Who really cares who they support, they contribute to lower league football and would be a massive miss if they didn’t.
  11. A big hats off to all the players, fans, committee members and most importantly fans for keeping us entertained over the year. When the season started many of us thought that the dreaded virus would decimate football again but the resilience of us Scots made sure it didn’t. We had many more games than usual, old cup, new cups and made up on the hoof cups that contributed to match’s being played on every day of the week over the year and only a small number got cancelled. The forum as usual has been entertaining and I hope that’s what most of us see it as, and that we all return healthy in July. Good luck to all teams in the few remaining games. That’s me away to my holiday home for the summer, Lamlash here I come.
  12. I have watched the man at Darvel matches on numerous occasions and you can see he is emotionally invested. Giving money to a Premier league club is a bit like pissing it down a pan, whereas he can see the momentum he is creating in front of his eyes.
  13. I think it’s up to Mr Gall how he spends his money.
  14. I don’t think it takes some doing at all. You just type your question and if someone answers, well it’s worked.
  15. Show me a good loser and I will show you a LOSER. Whatever way you want to dress it up Darvel and Mick Kennedy are winners.
  16. Say what you mean mate and don’t let anybody hold you back.
  17. I tell you what, Darvel, will be missed when the move up the pyramid. The 700 views per day that this thread averages shows the interest in them. I wonder who will become the most hated team then.
  18. Haha. Well they didn’t look like they could beat Casey’s drum. Haha
  19. I watched Benburb at the weekend against Thorniewood and if they don’t give themselves a shake, they will struggle to stay up.
  20. DL. How much did you have on Darvel at 11/1 today at Chepstow.
  21. I used to be a postie in Buckie and I took interest in them. Missed out on the title by 4 points. I now live in Goldenhill and follow Lesmahagow.
