Yep the fans have been done up like kippers. And i'm not buying the "we're struggling financially" from fans either. Says who? We have lost around £200k according to Dave Cormack. Between investment from directors and the Blank investment from Atlanta, the insurance payout and the wage deferrals we were in the hole by £200k. Obviously the deferrals have to be paid back this year. That may have something to do with it? Who knows. But on the whole the squad as it is will not cope with the full season. We need 3 players for me: Striker (would imagine an EPL loanee courtesy of AR, a CH (needs to be 1st pick IMO and we were after Robertson) and a winger.

If Glass isn't going to get the proper backing to bring in the players required he's been stitched up something chronic by his pal from over the pond. Good. He isn't capable of playing a full season as evident by his time at Rotherham. The only concern seems to be that Glass was very keen to get him. If he was 1st choice what's 2nd choice?

Gurr has been in Newcastle for the past few weeks. Don't like the idea of Ramirez dragging on. Might be a sruggle to get him here for the ECL game if Houston Dynamo keep screwing us about. I'd be giving them until this midweek then pulling the plug. But he seems to be our top target so think we will hang on as much as necessary.

He's the sort of player that we brought Allan Russell in for surely? And i can't see him being on big wages that would be an issue. I see Preston were credited with an interest in him but they'd need to pay compo for him whereas we wouldn't.
