  1. It’s only for England fans so we’re fine.
  2. Just about to ask this. I was away into a different room to turn the TV off thinking it was that.
  3. Staying up is obviously the right answer but I’m nowhere near as bothered by the threat of relegation as I was two years ago.
  4. To me those comments sound more like Barnes turned down an approach and Clarke, quite rightly, isn’t going to beg him. If he has a change of heart, then he knows where we are. As per the above two posts (and numerous other ones every time somebody comes back to this), his heart is set on England and that’s fine.
  5. Been a great 8/9 days. edit - injured on international duty. Out for ‘at least a month’ https://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/24222076.liverpool-v-brighton-roberto-de-zerbi-reveals-injury-setback/
  6. The bit in the middle was decent but started slowly and shat the bed a bit in the period between the equaliser and Dundee going ahead. Absolutely rotten at the end. So obvious to everybody in the stadium what’d happened - it’s the sort of incident you see every couple of games - and yet still I got my hopes up once they sent the ref to the monitor.
  7. The reaction when Crawford comes on at 2-0 down could be spectacular.
  8. Put me in the camp for thinking Dykes will start against Germany. Might be putting too much stock into it but his performances against Spain were excellent - particularly the one ant Hampden - and that’s probably the closest thing to the way the Germany game will be. Clearly he has his limitations though, and I wouldn’t really be looking to start him in games we’re looking to play a bit more football.
  9. Austin MacPhee isn’t the only coach I’ve seen doing that specific drill either.
  10. I suspect there are far more factors at play than Steve Clarke not fancying Adams.
  11. Was thinking this too. I fully expected the majority of people to not give a flying f**k about St. Johnstone.
  12. Two boys I grew up with were there. Lived in Scotland their whole lives. Guess the club…
  13. What a bizarre thing to say. Did you watch the 1928 team to be able to compare them?
  14. Some absolutely wild takes in here, and at Hampden last night. It was a really poor performance but it’s the sort we’ve not seen from this group of players all too often. To say we’ve not played well since Spain at Hampden is incredibly unfair. Performances against Georgia at Hampden and Cyprus away were really good - regardless of the level of opposition. Are people really trying to rewrite history with the Norway game? We weren’t great that night but who actually cares, it’s the result that matters. Last night is the first proper black mark against this squad and manager for nearly two years. It’s not time to panic.

It’s right outside the train station anyway so you likely won’t miss it. Definitely worth seeing but it won’t keep you away from the pints for long.
  16. It’ll be nice to watch Ali McCann at Hampden, again. Hope he gets beat this time though.
