  1. We’ve done well out of significant late goals this calendar year. Crawford at Livi, Hendry v Motherwell, May at Motherwell, Clark at Hibs and last night. The best types of goals.
  2. Are St. Mirren’s throw-ins always as bad as last night? Surprised - I shouldn’t be - that none were given as foul throws.
  3. There were quite a few that did the same. Pleasing, if truth be told.
  4. Played pretty well on Sunday but as should be expected, visibly tired as the game wore on. Time will tell but, so far, it’s looked as thought the old magic is still there. The fact that pace was never one of his main attributes works well for a player of his age returning from the injury he’s had.
  5. Thought about Tade’s but not sure it’s quite in the same category as Brown’s. Hasselbaink’s is one I’d completely forgotten about, which is surprising given how cold it was!
  6. Quality goal from Brian Graham wins what? Liam Craig against Motherwell wasn’t a bad goal either
  7. Having watched it back, my memory clearly played tricks as to how good it was. Still a very decent goal nonetheless. Sealed top six as well - unless my memory’s playing tricks again.
  8. The touch is excellent and the strike reminds me a bit of Hatate’s at Tynecastle last season. As for other goals there’s the obvious like Sheerin and Jenkinson against Dundee. More recently Stevie May against St. Mirren, Brian Graham against Dundee and Hendry against Motherwell last season
  9. Anybody seen any news on when the squad will be announced?
  10. Aye, he’s in the 21s squad. They play Iceland at Fir Park next Thursday, so a wee bit of a crossover
  11. Not too clued up on the players in the Australia squad who don’t have links to The SPFL/Scotland, but they must be of a decent standard. Would’ve thought somebody as versatile and as experienced would be ideal for a World Cup, not to mention the personality he’d bring. Ultimately, won’t complain about him getting the extra rest though. Everything crossed for Spoony.
  12. Aye - it was the accent for my pals and I. Wouldn’t have said I’ve got a particular teuchter accent, but there we are. When I said I was from Perth, it was confirmed that I was a certified teuchter. If they think Perth is teuchter, it’s probably just as well I didn’t mention Coupar Angus, Meigle etc.
  13. From what I’ve heard at Kasabian tonight, St. Johnstone win, acccording to a lot of weegies. Regardless, 3 steak and chorizo pies please. Much needed. As an aside, is Perth teuchter-ville to the Glasgow lot?
  14. HibsTV commentary is absolutely fucking dire
  15. Agree with all of this. Away games have definitely been more ‘entertaining’ this season, Livingston aside. Was impressed with Bair on Saturday as he actually looked as though he had some idea of how to use his frame.
