I believe it can only be done between the squad registration deadline for the round and the night before first leg.
Ah!

Correct.
Is there not some form of wildcard in which we can name a couple of new players up until the day of the game? Seen that bandied around with regards to Vertainen - may have just been for the first leg though…

No Booth or Craig.
Clark, Kerr, Gordon, McCart, Rooney, McCann, Davidson, Wotherspoon, Devine, O'Halloran, Kane

If Booth is fully fit I’d go with him just for experience, harsh to drop Devine after his performance on Saturday mind you…
Glad I’m not the one making the call

Ben Finnan , just signed for us , any info
Only seen him once, can vaguely remember him being decent with the ball but that’s about as much as I can give
Not that that’s much to go off, of course

I think its because the players in question are both players we've shown interest in.
Exactly the reason

That was also a first leg.
If we get a doing this week then we won't need more then 5,000 next week
Still reckon folk would come out just to see Galatasaray, Monaco a good example

Just have to see how much this freedom of the city malarkey actually means…

I'm not sure this first tie is really winnable regardless of who we sign tbh. I think we could maybe somehow squeeze a home result out it, but realistically we'll likely end up 2/3 down on aggregate after both games.
The Conference League Play-Off is the biggest one, and its still over two weeks away.
I’d still put us as massive underdogs if LASK are indeed the team we end up facing. Look a very handy team. Best chance we’ll ever get at group stage football, but if there’s ever a Saints team to upset the odds, it’s this one!

Vertainen deal done pending work permit according to Robert Thomson.

Kennedy a player I really liked, so aye. Drey Wright, no.
Hypothetical of course.

If memory serves correctly, do Rennes not spend quite a bit of money now and are a very decent team? Pretty sure they’ve got Doku, who looked really good in the Euros for Belgium, and a young lad Camavinga in central midfield. Although, sure the latter is touted for a big move so might not be there by the time the ties come around.
Vaguely remember there being a bit of panic from Celtic fans when they were drawn in the same Europa group.

They seem to think by clubs in Scotland not accepting their first offer(s) the clubs and players will forever regret turning down Rotherham.
Glad to see a fair few of our clubs telling them to bolt. Extra money aside, I doubt any of the players mentioned are at home greeting about not getting their dream move there!
As an aside re the work permits. I wonder if as the transfer window end gets closer, clubs down there will look north and maybe panic a bit and pay over the odds? They dont want to be signing a player on deadline day and then have to wait a few weeks for isolation and permits to be sorted.
Just wait for a team (such as a Rotherham) to lose their first couple of games, panic and bring in 3 or 4 new players.

Just listened to Steve Brown’s interview last night - remarkably positive, somebody make sure he’s feeling okay!
