So if we sold not a single other ticket & all season ticket holders turn up it would then be 8,700 at the game.

Could be being stupid here, apologies if I am. By 6000 ticket requests, does it mean 6000 tickets sold or is that the number of people who’ve bought tickets - either individual tickets or groups of twos, threes, fours etc.
If that makes any sense..

The clubs taken that into consideration by allowing people to call and request tickets, however they’ve countered it by allowing people in Perth to get tickets through season ticket holders.
They’ve made the right decision.Club have played an absolute blinder with this - in my opinion

They let fans know that the request was in. They informed the fans when the decision was received and they got the ticket info out that evening.
