  1. Might as well start the thread now. We look dire at the minute. Will really need to pull it out the bag to beat Stenny. They haven't had the best of starts with that squad but in my opinion this will be even tougher than our last two games. Two games in and I already feel that this is a 'must win' because of how competitive the league is this season and the players that are now plying their trade in this division. Tickets are now available on fanbase to both sets of fans.
  2. Wow what a mess we are in. I agree with points made by everyone, there is serious concern amongst our small support and I'm not exaggerating when I say this, but one very close friend of mine will not part with his cash until things at the club improve. We all still go out of blind loyalty and get behind our team, however he made some very hard hitting points as to why he won't go to games. How many others feel like that right now? How many others under the radar are sliding off to other local clubs at a lower level then us? Let me tell you, quite a few. Musselburgh are getting crowds of over 350, Bonnyrigg Athletic's support is growing, so are many other clubs around Edinburgh and The Lothians. These are the exact fans we were trying to attract, the neutrals and ones that want to stop floating, but our product is garbage at the moment, we still are not at Meadowbank (not the clubs fault) and there are a few other things which I won't air on a public forum as to why people are reluctant to come and support our club. Many small clubs around the area are growing in support, sadly, I think ours is going to plummet if things don't change. There is only so much we can do as supporters to egg our pals on to get along to games. Some may think my post is a bit melodramatic so early in the season, but even after not winning in our first 10 games in 2016/17 I was still confident we'd stay up in which we did comfortably in the end. This season, I haven't got that confidence whatsoever, in fact, I'm absolutely bricking it if we can't find our scoring boots in the next couple of weeks max. Sorry to those trying to be positive , I'm trying, but it's really difficult right now.
  3. Cheers. Was going to go on your thread later and ask but you've been good enough to answer my question before I've even asked it haha. Hopefully he can do a job and he isn't a panic signing. To get out of this league then any signing we get needs to be league one standard at a minimum. If he's not that, then I certainly won't be getting excited.
  4. Ciaran Brian signs from some 4th tier Swedish club, right-back, has two first names.
  5. Spot on. Of course, we'll get behind them as much as we can, but I think it's fair to say that every single one of us that went was so deflated walking away from that game on Saturday. At least you were in the comfort of your own home to watch that disappointment!
  6. Away day travel details Kelty away on the 21st Booked The East Of Scotland deal on Stagecoach Buses is excellent value for money and I highly recommend those that are going through to all pile on the X56 ️ (P.S, Don't activate the ticket on the app until the day of the game)
  7. What a shower of crap that was yesterday. Forget the officials debacle, that was just a sideshow to what we had to endure. The boy Robertson looks top drawer and could get us a few goals but other then that, I am worried about the season ahead. Very worried.
  8. 12.38 train from Waverley. Pint in the Spoons beforehand at the top of the ramp. I've booked us into Owens Bar on the other side as well
  9. Not as bad as 2017/18 pre season where we signed the worst players in City history. Only one when on to cement himself and became club captain, the rest were absolute riddys.
  10. Our board mean well, they do, they are good people, but this pre-season has been thoroughly disappointing to say the least. Hardly anyone has the buzz for the new season starting this time around. That said, I'll still part with my hard earned cash throughout the season despite my moans.
  11. Further to my last post. I fully expect to be at Albion this Saturday despite the fact no bus will run. Train journey will suffice. Will post details later/tomorrow. Trying to get quite a few together.
  12. Totally agree. I'm becoming so disillusioned it's beyond belief. Tried to stay off this site but thought I'd say a few words. The season ticket prices are a bit of a joke, the new shirt debacle is farcical and the manager has cleared a squad out without bringing in enough quality replacements. Is something going on behind closed doors that we don't know about? I'm genuinely concerned if there is. Another reason I'm a bit annoyed is I wanted to get a bus running to Albion on Saturday, however bus prices are ridiculously high so this season will be a struggle to put buses on. Extremely deflating as myself and another had some really great plans for away travel etc. There's a massive part of me that just wants to say "f**k this I've had enough" but it's in the blood now isn't it.
