I find it so fcuked up now, that I can’t even bring myself to joke that hopefully they cancel fitba’, so that I don’t need to watch St Mirren’s grim low-scoring hoofball pish.

What’s going on? The most vulnerable have been vaccinated. I’m double vaccinated and boostered at 60 years old. I don’t need the vaccine to make me superman, invincible. I just need it to stop me dying or needing a hospital bed should I get Covid. The vaccines can do that, can’t they? Mitigate the effects just enough, that I can deal with the effects at home?

Yet here we are, with young folk seeing their only shot at being young, going to clubs, meeting partners, shagging, drinking and watching bands being flushed down the U Bend. Businesses being hammered. Mental health issues, domestic violence increasing. Towns and cities suffering from ‘work at home’ folk not spending money in them. Other illnesses and things not being diagnosed or treated properly. Citizens of this country shitting themselves if someone near them coughs, or, heaven forbid, doesn’t have a piece of patterned shit slapped over their mouth. UK and Scottish governments with rules and restrictions that in huge part make zero sense. Plastic screens, even though they stop airflow and make things worse. Have us queuing outside ahead of doing the Christmas shopping, in the pishing rain and cold? Could go on all day. Covid, despite me recognising its seriousness and effects on loved ones and the vulnerable, is NOT the ONLY thing that matters.

What the actual fcuk is going on any more?

i'm must be more ''tory'' than i ever thought, because after reading your rant, i just shrugged and thought ''f**k you jack, i'm alright.''

I’m just puzzled as to why you’re spending your time posting on a Scottish football website given you seem to hate both Scottish football generally and also hate the vast majority of posters on here.

i don't hate anyone fella, i'm pretty sure most of my red dotters are mostly decent people, and i don't hate scottish football either, can't say i watch that much of it, although its difficult to avoid living back north of the border, but it does puzzles me that X,Y & Z down the road are shite and overrated, but the rare time i see sportscene, the football is just a bag of w**k

The same B-Tech European Competition that EPL winners and Champions League chaser Leicester City rather embarrassingly failed to qualify from their group. But yes, Norwich City would dominate it. You absolute fucking trout.

i give as many fucks about Leicester as i do about any team up here, i've seen the club i follow win it, and it was pretty embarrassing some fans thought it was a major trophy, its tinpot shite., but if your standards are that low, its a pointless exercise even carrying on this discussion, you tartan army fellas really are a delicate bunch.

Meldrew essentially saying that the whole English Championship could compete in Europe here. Utterly brainwashed by the Sky machine.

Cancelled Sky in 2013 but i'm ''Brainwashed by Sky'' only 3 go up to the prem, the ugly sister arent getting out of that league and neither are the shite they're able to beat in some B Tech european competition

Was the reason he failed at Celtic the same reasons he failed at Sevilla and Schalke or did he make a new one up?

i don't know, as i don't really have a great deal of interest in his career, would've no doubt still have been in the scotland squad while failing at all these clubs

Look around him at the 'quality' of the team. When the top man is a guy who failed at Celtic and only really had two decent seasons scoring a goals in the Championship (a league which I think we all agree is over-hyped and essentially more diddy than the English wish to admit) then can one player really make a difference? The rest of the squad is bang average mainly Championship level with a few over-hyped English talent.

Other than perform at the best level he can, integrate into the team, fulfill the requirements from the manager and ensure he is the best or most consistent performer then what do folks expect.

BG wanted to go on loan and ended up at Norwich where the squad around him is lacking, while 'fortunately' Gallagher ended up at Palace and has had a good season so far, if it was the other way round with him at Norwich I'm not sure the English media would be saying the same and calling for him to get more caps or hi performances would be near the same level. Being in a team with quality like Zaha, Benteke, Eduard etc will make it much easier to show real impact.

Put BG in a team higher up the league with more quality and freedom for him to play his game then see what happens!!!

the fuckin state of this post, if you're looking for ''diddy leagues'' i think you should look closer to home, the ugly sisters wouldn't get out of that league with their current squad and they're miles ahead of anything else in Scotland and the guy who ''failed at celtic'' has already stated his reason why he ''failed''

There's probably countless players through the years who won't have nice words said about them at club level but never let Scotland down. I don't really know as like many others don't really care what some idiot English fans think of players but it's likely someone like Alan Hutton for example took pelters at his club at some point but was almost always immense for Scotland. Tierney has been excellent for us, so this constant "but look what the Arsenal fans say" really deserves an Alan Partridge shrug from everyone but it's taken up about two pages of drivel now. It's not balanced it's contrarian, there's a difference.

That's a fair enough point of view, i have never given a f**k about the national team, so it does puzzle me when i see nonsense like ''Kenny McLean is too good for Norwich''  but to each their own, be interesting to see what one of these heroes gets hammered on here when you don't make it to the big show though.

He seems to be the fans choice as captain also. So i think it is relevant to the discussion on Tierney.

And apologies if you disagree with the last few posts. But frankly ill post what I want.

what fans ? i see more saying Gabriel than i do anyone else, but as Velo Army said, this round about posting is tedious, you do know its alright not be be correct all the time ?

Why do you keep posting links to them then?

Because for some reason, almost everyone in this thread has currently changed their opinions and now the national team {and manager} walk on water, when some fans that watch them week in week out have an altogether different opinion, but any opinion on here that does sing their praises is wrong, just looking for a bit of balance, its borderline ''Follow Follow'' in this thread.

Let's just call it what it is, you've never posted on here before.

You came on specifically to try and annoy us. Giving your "balanced opinion" that Tierney was finished at arsenal and on the way out. 2 games later what you have been pushing as the truth we couldn't see is a pile of pants.

Come back and do the same thing next time he's coming back from injury please.

i never came on here  to annoy or give a ''balanced'' opinion about Tierney, as was actually on here asking ''what the f**k are the tartan army watching'' as i seen post after post praising Scott McTominay

I’ve read that forum a bit over the years (my friend is an Arsenal fan and showed me it) and to be honest, it’s a really weird place.

I wouldn’t be citing their opinion on any of their players - they seem to love all their new players as the best ever then once they have a bad patch, consider them awful, slag them all time and want them sold.

They seem to hate all their players eventually, and usually it becomes divorced from how they are actually playing and they just start having odd biases where when they are good it’s lucky and bad is reverting to type. Dislike for Tierney was inevitable and Tavares will get the same after a while. Even Saka, who is one of their own academy players has started getting a hard time.

that's not unusual on any forum for a top supported team in the english top flight

Turns out the average tartan army punter was correct tho.

i don't really care who's right or wrong, i'm not a 10 year old kid, i rate the guy, always have, i just don't live in a football worlds where everything is rosy and the tartan army squad are looked upon as Brazil 70

  13. 2 minutes ago, BingMcCrosby said:

Indeed, what you were saying was that only tartan army fan boys think he would win his place back in the team. And you think he's so far out the picture he's likely to be sold tho eh.

Which was very quickly proven to be absolute horseshit.

some of those fellas who watch him every week aren't as impressed as your average tartan army punter

Tierney starts the last 2 games, and Meldrew slinks back under his rock. Delightful

let's not make shite up, not once have i said i didnt rate Tierney, not once, all i did was make the point more than a few gooners had jumped aboard the Tavares hype train, but currently on this shithole of a thread, no one can say anything even remotely critical about anything scotland related, yet it wasnt that long ago 95% of you wanted Clarke sacked.
