Great result although soft spot for Montrose. Thought you played really well against us, and very few teams have came to the stadium and had a go. If you keep the nucleus of team you’ll be back up next season. Best of luck!!

Ok maybe wrong use of guaranteed, but with Hamilton likely to beat Montrose they will almost be certain of a play off spot if they win or draw at Cove. Thanks for the correction.,,

On a slightly different topic, Montrose result tonight gives outside chance to Kelty/Cove for last play off spot, tall order but doable, with Alloa guaranteed play off spot.

But Tait would be on loan, surely Hibs pay his salary and we contribute a percentage? Also not sure who is going to offer Ross any more than us, considering he’s obviously not wanted by Raith and he’s been used mostly as a squad player for us this season. Have you heard a club higher up the food chain as being quoted with an interest? I’d a have thought we would have a decent chance at getting both if we wanted them.
Sincerely hope we can sign them, gut feeling is that wages may be an issue. Hope I’m wrong

How do you know they will be out of reach?
Competition that can offer more lucrative salaries.

It’s a pity that both Ross and Tait will probably be out of reach, as these guys are class. With Miller Morrison ripping the outsides, and the thought of Alfie and Ross coming on, we’ve got real pace and skill upfront.
Ross will want a starting slot, and with Miller bringing real class, it’s difficult to see if Ross would be happy as a squad player. Tait with Spencer and Nesbitt bring a formidable centre three and allows width either short or long. Let’s see what McGlynn can magic…1 -

I've missed that. When did he say that and was there any indication of possible names?
A few weeks back, sure it was as mentioned, think also interview with FH (STBC)

MCGlynns signings have been fantastic and that’s why we’re champions and still unbeaten. If it’s true about McKenna and he’s a target so be it. I just think at 33 he may be a risk, but it’s all about opinions.
For me looking at the amount of players that are going to be either released or out of contract, I’m sure McGlynn will find some gems - as in his words he’s after a few players that are quality. After his signings so far (apart from a couple) I’ve no concerns he will be successful.1 -
Earlier than normal silly season with rumours with players. The Daily arse cheeks faves already at it, with the who's in and out. Closer to home if what’s being reported that McKenna is signing I’d be surprised.

I remember this well! Didn't he then flick the ball over a Hamilton player almost straight after kneeling on it?
Yes nearly brought the main stand down, the old lady erupted

Can't see us getting Tait as his displays as Hibs intended were to prove himself as a Hibs first team player or the shop window to get a transfer fee
Doesn’t help that we’ve nearly had exclusive BBC Alba Football TV rights, with Tait and the team playing some great stuff. If Montgomery somehow survives the usual summer cull, wouldn’t be surprised to see the bottom five in the top league, all chasing Tait.

why is queen's park playing every other week on the Hampden pitch seen as a better move than Scotland training on it once in a blue moon? It just doesn't add up
Not 100% sure, but it looked like the Scotland squads for the last two home games, were training at QP new ground.

agree with all of this only to add that McGlynnn and Smith have built this team and the style of play having come in at rock bottom and transformed the club but they haven't done all this themselves, we have all played our part in various ways.
Another hands up here. Walked out of Airdrie a year ago, after the most abhorrent display and like many broken and baying for the BOD to bin them. I,ll be honest and so disappointed when they were not relieved of duties. Ready to give up ST after decades of supporting the club. Roll on nearly a year to that debacle and got to admit that the decision to see out their respective two year deals, has been rewarded with promotion, with ease and games to spare. Happy to take the medicine…..

Really pleased for Nesbitt, his work rate is immense. Also, he`s a good reader of the game and often gets himself into position to cut out opposition passes. It was that anticipation that got him his goal yesterday.
Hands up with this guy. Gave him a very hard time and thought the two year deal was wrong. The guys overall performances over the past couple of months have been superb. No coincidence since Miller has came in Nesbitt’s form has been class. We can’t disregard how important Tait has been. Watched him when he came on against Alloa away and knew he was special. His overall play has allowed Miler & Nesbitt to have almost a free role at times.
What a difference going to watch Falkirk. Brilliant feeling going to the games now, very noticeable many new faces at the away games, especially with the young team, younger fans in general and many families.
If the Ultras could get a vote for player of the season, they get mine. Simply superb and players are feeding off.8 -
When does the the club launch the new merchandise (new strips etc)

Agree, think Annan could be the toughest of the remaining 3 games. Their home form is second only to ours with 4 wins from their last 5 and as you say they have a lot to play for. A lot of the teams lose their runs of form when they play us though, so here's hoping it continues for the next 3 games.
In other news...there are only 369 tickets left for the North Stand for the Alloa game (sold 623).
Agree, thought Annan in general have played some decent football and have done reasonably well against us. They are fighting hard to keep safe and not dropping down. A difficult game ahead. Didn’t realise Kelty could (difficult)nick a play off place depending on others. Across the league Accies and Alloa are the only two teams that are pretty much guaranteed their end places after the 36games.

Apart from a couple of decent chances, if I was an Accies fan, I’d be gravely worried about the players attitude, application and general malaise. It was an absolute canter and we’ve had teams like Annan and Edinburgh giving a far more dig. Play offs are cup finals - play like yesterday and you’ve absolutely no chance of getting up.

Settled into local and proud to overhear a few locals talking about our club. In a city divided by the arse cheeks, sitting proud as Fck as a bairn.
