  1. Then it's just the Pars game where we renamed a stand instead of a game to honour our Player of the Millenium who is having a stand named in his honour. It's a subtle change but makes a world of difference.
  2. It's a tenner for an adult, fiver concession and a quid for kids. It is likely the smallest outlay any fans will be asked for over the season.
  3. Yet some won't pay fitting tribute because it's Kilmarnock and it's a Friday or the new strips haven't been launched or we aren't playing on grass! 4 tickets bought and hopefully we see a surge this week.
  4. The club should arrange a block booking with the council.
  5. Absolutely wild take. Highlighting the few exceptions to make a case against all prior evidence that English players *might* be better. Close season chat has peaked surely.
  6. The Callander business park was being used as "official" stadium parking and there was overspill onto Callander Road from what I could see. Roads into the Bog were closed but we parked in Randyford Street as the steward didn't seem that fussed about enforcing it for local access if you seemed like a local and knew some street names!
  7. Its very minor but one slight annoyance with the ST info is if you're going to the trouble of renaming a stand in honour of the player of the millennium please refer to it as such. The CI have not spent considerable time and effort for it to remain the South Stand! It should be known as the Kevin McAllister South Stand in all references to it.
  8. Can't remember which poster it was had issue with the pre-recorded messaging played before games but this is exactly why it's, sadly, necessary
  9. https://www.falkirkfc.co.uk/2022/05/25/supporter-update-meeting-details/ Credit where it's due that the BOD realise that to encourage a broad church of supporters holding these in venues other than pubs is welcome. Tickets available online and at the club shop another plus.
  10. It'll never catch on! Can you imagine them using it to announce signings
  11. I agree with the former but the latter is subjective. That depends many, many factors. So were the club and they didn't. Depending on your familiarity with him I'd hope he might say it'll be communicated in time via the club website/SM accounts so that, yes, as wide an audience can get access to that information.
  12. Professionalism. I don't have a problem with the tweet or info, it's most welcome but we employ staff to plan, co-ordinate and put that info out and no-doubt pay for services to enable them to do that. If you circumvent that and instead shoot off and do your own thing that lessens the effectiveness of having those roles and tools - I'd rather he comment on the announcement of the info he divulged. Why have various club websites if I can contact Jamie or Lewis or someone else directly via Twitter or Facebook to ask questions or find out information. For example, If I didn't know JS was CEO and was looking for ST info I would assume the club site is where I'd find it. I think that's the bugbear for some posters who have taken issue. Another area the club hasn't yet got to grips but I am glad to know I won't be waiting much longer to renew
  13. You should get that checked. Could be something serious
  14. Dunfermline would be an obvious inference.
  15. I have no relationship with past or present boards. Ordinary fan with an opinion.
  16. I don't have issues with volunteers per se but I think your underestimating that role and what it potentially entails nowadays. You also overlook the actual plea which was included sales experience. This isn't the club inviting folk to help smarten up the stadium or clear snow - these are specialist roles which are time consuming and skilled.
  17. A lot of words to say we're skint and our commercial operation is a disaster! It would seem in order to "control non-football costs" we seem to have reverted - if we ever deviated from - relying on volunteers with professional skills to work pro-bono which, in my view, is a nonsense considering the amount of work realistically required in the areas mentioned. I can't say I'm as enthused as others about the statement. Yet to see tangible change happening which aligns with the pillars the board describe their instigating.
  18. Where is the information about the fixtures/results for these teams? The sooner the club and relevant committee get on top of the website, comms etc the better.
  19. Save yourself the keystrokes and just go back a couple of hundred pages. This has already been discussed long since. He didn't sign for us and McGlynn won't make the same mistake twice. If my auntie had balls ...
  20. Would not be unhappy to offload Williamson. Wilson wasn't a million miles worse than him and it's not even his position! Can only surmise the fear of injury has set in with Williamson.
  21. I don't get the pitch argument either. As was mentioned weeks ago, if the main pitch is causing injuries then switch to the newer one and only use the main one on matchdays. If it's due to the bounce etc then the majority of teams we've faced seem to have mastered it. An aged 5G pitch is surely better than a rutted, bare grass pitch every other week.
  22. Jamie MacDonald returning for a second spell
