Clubs Are Taking The Piss Thread
SuperSaints1877 replied to accies1874's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Evidence? We certainly never voted in favour of keeping the 10-2 vote which Milne did. That was my point. -
McTominay can’t even get a starting slot in the Scotland midfield. Fletcher was a first pick for Scotland when fit.

Clubs Are Taking The Piss Thread
SuperSaints1877 replied to accies1874's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Well with Aberdeens owners history of voting I agree. Self interest has always been the way with your club board. Milne had the chance to alter the top league voting rights when Sevco were in the seaside leagues but chose greed over the right course of action. He should never be forgotten as the club chairman who held back the rest of the non-OF clubs. Shameful behaviour from a greedy Cnut. I don’t believe that Aberdeen fans agreed with his position. -

Thanks for this. -
I’ve not watched this. It sounds horrific. Is it car crash TV and to be avoided?

Do they play any Metallica in the series?

Gary Holt has a bizarre pet theory that there were actually three Lemmy Kilmister's in the world. The Exodus/Slayer guitarist shared an old memory of when Exodus spent a week "partying like fucking animals" in London before they hit the road. During at least one of those trips, the Bay Area thrash band would run into the Motörhead frontman at various bars around England, and Holt swears (with a twinge of humor, of course) that the man must've had at least two other clones of himself based on his supernatural ability to turn up at every building they arrived at. https://www.revolvermag.com/music/exodus-gary-holt-why-i-think-there-were-least-3-lemmys?fbclid=IwAR0VCgt1q_xLoQO4V4AP3LkyZnjeDjJbhpDQOI4HRf80CzLdxCr2axbi678&fs=e&s=cl

Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...

I just asked my neighbour if she needed a hand trimming her bush free of charge rather than paying some strangers. -
Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...
SuperSaints1877 replied to well fan for life's topic in The General Nonsense Forum
One of my neighbours gets his grass cut by a local firm. They have a very large 4x4 with a trailer attached carrying all the grass mowers, etc. Normally they park right in front of the shared driveway so its difficult to get out but not impossible. Today they blocked off the entrance to the shared driveway at the road so it was impossible to get out. I had to get out as an emergency and I politely asked him to move the offending vehicles. He mumbled and grumbled and never bothered his arse. So I proceeded to cross onto my stone chippings by my drive way and moved onto my other neighbours driveway to get out. Inconsiderate b*****d. Should this really be placed on “c***s on the Road” thread. -

I believe there is a lot of money in that given the latest metals used in manufacture. Is it possible you can ask for these to be returned?- 192 replies

McTominay has played 171 first team games over 7 seasons and not won anything. Darren Fletcher played 342 first team games over 13 seasons and won the following at Man Utd: Premier League: 2006–07, 2007–08, 2008–09, 2010–11, 2012–13 FA Cup: 2003–04 Football League Cup: 2009–10 FA Community Shield: 2003,2007, 2008, 2010 UEFA Champions League: 2007–08 FIFA Club World Cup: 2008 It’s quite ironic that McTominay has played exactly half the number of games that Fletcher played for Man Utd. McTominay may well have been “trusted” by the managers he has played under, but not one of those managers won anything of note during the time of McTominays first team days. Fletcher had serious illnesses during his time at Man Utd and serious competition for a first team jersey. What competition does McTominay have? £47M Fred? Fred’s signing and Pogba’s for £89M sums up all that is wrong with Utd at this time. Pogba left on a free transfer The 2017 League Cup and Europa League are the only trophies of Pogba’s six-season spell. John McGinn would have been a better option than Fred. Utd could have signed Meatball for under £3M. In May 2020, former teammate Rooney cited Fletcher as an important member of the successful 2006–09 United side, describing him as being as "vital" to the team as himself, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Carlos Tevez, and saying he sacrificed his own individual acclaim for the team. So McTominay has 171 games left at Man Utd to try and win the trophies that Fletcher won. Good luck with that.

Sweet man! I like it. That actually makes it even better for my argument that despite all the money the new club spent they are serial underachievers.- 800 replies

So basically the same number as St Johnstone but they have spent less in 10seasons than you spend in one? That’s a superb record for such financial outlay! Seriously. Joking aside. I hope you get pumped out ideally with a last minute OG, penalty or VAR awarded goal. It’s a nice night for some Belgian lager. Santé!- 800 replies

Your tribute club had the second largest budget in each of the ten seasons since you were formed in 2012 and so far have only won one major domestic honour. St Johnstone with a tiny fraction of your budget managed to win a cup double in 2020. Hope you get duly pumped out of Europe tonight.- 800 replies

Crystal Palace tried to show “ambition” and got into financial problems. QPR the same. Blackburn Rovers the same. Everton. Horrific spending to compete against the big guns. Massive losses. Wigan. Gretna style owner. Leeds United. Nearly died through overspending. Portsmouth. Nearly died through overspending.
