What about rattle twirlers, are they welcome? We've got 2 or 3 of them to add to the atmosphere.
Great idea - send them to the home end so that the away support doesn’t need to listen to them at close proximity!

Just shout "Intae these Tory c***s". That does it for me tbh. I used to sit next to the away fans but had to move as this insult turned me into a seething mess. Not much gets under my skin but that one really hits a nerve
ETA - should say I have no issue with Them being referred to as c***s, I'm just upset when I get lumped in as a Tory. I've no issue with being called a c**t though.
There is indeed no worse insult than being branded a Tory!

Think next weeks game against Edin City will prove how lucky Queens are to have an astute businessman in charge of the finances.
Nope I’m not having that - the dwindling crowds say otherwise.

So, big financial problems developing at Edinburgh City. Will they come to Queens rescue this season? ... straws, clutching at ... etc etc
I imagine we’ll have our own financial problems sooner rather than later to worry about - sub 1000 crowds and continued league 1/2 football isn’t sustainable for a “full time” club.

I'm really not having a go at Queens here lads, but were you not a bit fortunate against DU? The stats were amazing, surely on another day a few of those efforts go in?
Yep you’re correct - on another day that ends up an absolute horsing! still was good to actually see the players giving their all for 120 minutes.

Going by ticket sales it’s going to be a very small home crowd. Dundee Utd haven’t sold their allocation either but will still outnumber Queens fans. Scottish cup games used to get a decent crowd. Maybe the board will be shocked into action when they see how small the home crowd is today. Then again probably not.
This board won’t be shocked into anything - they clearly don’t give a toss!

Hi is anyone having problems buying tickets for Saturday?
I doubt too many have attempted to!

Not at the game today. What's the atmosphere like?
Comatose or are there signs of unrest?
There is no atmosphere

We have to try and give him as long as we can will cost a fortune to pay the rest of his contract..
Do we give Bartley the Jan transfer window to try and inprove the squad or do use that money to pay the remainder of his contract
Difficult decision for the board
I’d like to think that the board would start putting certain expectations in a managers contract that would make it easier to terminate it - any other job in life where you are failing to perform to a certain standard usually results in getting the punt without being financially rewarded for being useless!

Well, I had said in an earlier thread that he needed to get the show back on the rails by end of November latest ... so (in my mind at least) ... time's starting to run short ...
He’s got to go now - it’s an embarrassment to be in the position we’re in.

Queens battled like f**k. If I was one of their fans I would be raging at them, losing to the likes of Alloa and Stirling Albion and turning on a performance like that. The Broom/Bartley interview will be nauseating
Indeed, the fight shown today has been sadly lacking far too often thugs season! We’re still far too negative though - I lost count of how many times we went from attacking positions back to the keeper!

Just reading this thread I think some QOTS fans are being a bit ridiculous. They gave Falkirk a close game last time and were unlucky not to get something against us. Obviously been a poor start to the season for them and their home form is concerning but from what I've seen and read they've been unlucky not to pick up more points and at some point I think they will turn it around. I do think Falkirk will probably win tomorrow but to say there's no chance of QOTS picking anything up is ridiculous. Anything can happen in Scottish Football and I expect Bartley will make it a tough game for Falkirk tomorrow.
You’ve clearly not seen enough if you think we’ve been unlucky!

Forgetting all the patter about stadiums etc, I actually really like Palmerston, it's old school and it's something different.
It would be fine if there was some sort of general maintenance/cleaning but the current regime have no interest providing such luxuries as a clean seat!

Any queens fan know or have a theory on how their home form is so poor? Like others have said, their performance at Tfs wasn't anywhere near the worst I've seen, although very limited up top.
Our manager has signed a collection of mainly awful footballers who should never be playing full time football.

We could easily be outnumbered 2 to 1 by the away support for that cup tie!

I wasn’t fooled by a freak result at Montrose and a win against an U20 team.
