  1. The reality is that any action against big groups is asking for trouble. If a few stewards and police wade into the Green Brigade or Union Bears and try and huckle the culprits they are going to start a mass riot. its bullshit but it is the reality
  2. I actually think that is a better interview than most recently. He is being accountable and showing that he is not giving up. I'd rather he stepped aside but at least there is a bit of fire in his belly. As long as he realises that fans want to see us go down fighting and that means taking risks and trying to create chances while obviously not throwing away stupid goals. We played well in large parts against Dundee. A win against Ross County and you never know what can happen. Adams, also seems determined, much like Davie, to make rash statements to the detriment of his side. If Davie can discuss the hunger to fight off relegation rather than finances then there may be a chance to get these players into the play-off spot.
  3. Another one bites the dust Any rumours on who we’ve got coming in?
  4. Can anyone actually see the statement? Website seems like it’s down
  5. Well my source also told me that it was from a team member as well…
  6. Was told the headbutt story about a month ago and considering so many have heard it I tend to believe it may be true.
  7. What is the script with Teto. Seems to still be in Scotland? 90 days is the wait period between WP applications if my FM knowledge is correct which would be early November. Yet, no announcement at all.
  8. We are we discussing Livingston's FC executive structure like it is Apple inc. There are about 5 folk in the building. Davie probably shouted out the office door and Dave Black was the first to arrive.
  9. Exactly this. Guy has a few black marks against his name. Will see what comes of it long term.
  10. Hamilton have sold 4 academy players to English clubs this transfer window (Including Armand One son). Incredible business and can only hope our academy can start to do this in time. It’s what we should be striving for.
  11. Rangers cup money also probably helped here. Giving him a 50% pay out now softens the overall blow. (50% is purely a guess here)
  12. If Guthrie can't nod one in against that Hibs defence then I will lose all hope. Absolutely woeful from the crossed ball
  13. Assume there is both a positive and negative action to publishing the total. Great for those who actually care about the club to get an understanding of growth. But no doubt all the Da's out there on Twitter and on the Facebook group will be reacting like a bunch of idiots
  14. Pushing season tickets sales hard this last week or so on Twitter. Any update on numbers, other than we are up on last year?
  15. Purely based on Footbal Manager logic here, but I am sure one of the ways to help with WP issues is that if you are willing to pay him a considerable wage higher then the average (essentially showing his value relative to the squad) you are more likely to succeed however we are likely giving him a fairly modest wage to start with and this won't have helped our case either.
  16. Best bet would potentially be setting him up with a bigger club in South Africa who were also chasing him which will prove as evidence of his ability and also hopefully get him recognised at international level
  17. Getting those two would bring a fair amount of creating spark by the sounds of things so would could almost be like getting a new front man.
  18. For me this was worse than the ICT cup loss. You can almost accept a team in a lower league raising there game and getting a freak result. And despite the performance against ICT being worse than this game Dundee Utd were completely in the dumps after the early season clusterfuck of bad performances and sackings and yet we lost to them.
  19. Record reporting no formal offer for Nouble has been placed yet (via Dave Black) and Schwake has move on to some lower tier Spanish club with us waiving the compensation fee for some other type of pay package (Via Martindale). Assume smaller fee with sell-on %.
  20. Definitely in one of the Callum Carson articles. Just to clarify, he says he doesn't expect he will be here next year not that he definitely would be gone
  21. I always felt Davie spoke really highly of Parkes that I could have seen him retiring and taking on some form of coaching role at the club despite not playing all that often. Makes sense with the wage that it would be him. Also one good year for Boyes and you have a marketable player not the same for Parkes
  22. Potentially Ayo moving on? Martindale did say recently that he wouldn't be here next season so potentially someone came in early for him. Could see English League 2/National League making a move.
  23. In fairness, the agent gave Davie the wrong number in that case but does sound like he is prone to a few clangers
  24. If he has seen him at the Titanic Cup then it makes sense we are taking a punt on him before making him a Trialist. If you are a young aspiring footballer outwith Europe then European football could lead to far more favourable financial offerings than moving within South Africa further down the line, should it work out. Any agent worth their salt will be advising the European route over a domestic move. https://tsgalaxyfc.com/teto-and-mahlangu-selected-for-the-sa-under-23/ Including this link purely for the fact the other player called up was 'Macbeth “Killer” Mahlangu'
