Why are we worried about Queens Park all of a sudden? Yes they are well backed doesn’t necessarily mean they will succeed in the championship, if we make the right appointment we will get top4/top6 comfortably next season

According to reports yes he has had quote on quote “positive talks” and looks favourite but I don’t believe it until he’s holding up the scarf/club announcement

I’m positive Thomson is linked to every job in world football, either a “candidate” or “he’s getting the job apparently” most of its paper talk imo, I could see Dundee going for the likes of Jack Ross, Tommy Wright someone in that mould

Maybe I was a bit harsh on a few like Frankie and Zanatta I never knew frankie missed only 1 game through injury and Zanatta looking at his 2nd half stats is a lot better I apologise, but Varian I don’t think was even a mild success, he never scored enough goals and that’s what a strikers job is, I disagree on Dick I think he’s been an awful signing but that’s my opinion, he’s been suspect defensively and a bit timid going forward, Mackie Meh, agree with Keatings 100%, but my point is did the board see that McGlynn spent all this money to finish 5th with a squad better than probably Partick and Arbroaths and the form dip drastically after spending said money

Not having a dig at anyone, but hasn’t anyone thought the board never actually wanted McGlynn to stay/trust him with a bigger budget after what he wasted it on last season, DG, Keatings, Zanatta, Dick, an injury prone Musonda, MacKie, Varian to name a few and who’s to say the next guy won’t get a bigger budget to be trusted to spend it wisely?

There’s a clause in thomsons contract saying he can leave to go to full time football, similar to when we appointed McKinnon he had that clause in his Brechin contract so I don’t think we do need to compensate (could be wrong)

You could well be right there, like you said it has happened to smith and they probably thought we could do the same to McGlynn and he might accept obviously he never, and I think the new gaffer might get a better budget than what was rumoured McGlynn was offered

If it’s Scott brown, he needs an experienced assistant to guide him along because it’s risky having a full on inexperienced coaching staff/management team who will probably be running the football club im worried in that aspect

Mackie is good player but has his lapse of concentration moments but when he came to us, instant upgrade on Liam Dick, going forward and defensively and if he can stay injury free be a decent signing for you lot, but apparently he’s got offers from QP, Hamilton and another championship side, but if Falkirk get him be a good signing

I’ve seen a few folk on FB and Twitter mentioning Scott brown is it looking likely he’s going to be our new manager or is it someone on the wind up?
