We don’t know the real reason why McGlynn left (what your saying might be true to why he left I dunno) as Rovers supporters, but what we do know for a fact and it comes from McGlynn himself, he was in charge of transfers if he wanted a player he would go to the BoD, and we know in late December/January he had a lists of strikers and DG was on it along with Jack Hamilton and Alegria and 1 other so he likely has something to do with it

Aw, I thought it was an academy similar to Fife elite never knew it was that type of academy

If it is Kevin Thomson hasn’t he got his own academy if I’m right in thinking? Maybe there could be a few there

I know we need a manager first but would anyone take ally Roy the now released Queens striker at the rovers, done a decent in a poor Queens side and reckon he could be better with a decent team like us just a suggestion

Hello, I know Laurie Ellis was the Queens Park manager for a bit, what was he like as manager/coach for you guys? I’m asking because he been linked to the Raith Rovers job and was just wanting your guys opinions on him, also why did he leave you guys?

Well it looks like Bene is off to Falkirk with John, rumour is so is Brad Spencer, Musonda could be going back down south, Tumilty supposedly off to St Mirren, 1 senior striker at the club, 4 midfielders 2 youngsters, 1 CB with McKay possibly leaving No RB 2 LBs 1 youngster……. We need at least 3 CBs, Right Back, 2 strikers, another Central Midfielder all on this rumoured tight budget

I got told the exact same thing Michael it wasn’t the contract offer as people think, he was offered a 2 year deal and a similar wage as at Falkirk, it was budgeted reasons, he wanted a bigger squad to try cope with injuries but as you said we sign 3/4 players max

If it was budget reason why McGlynn left, and the board cut it he is partly to blame is he not? Because what I’ve told is that most of the budget could be going towards paying DG off if that’s true then the board is shambles it should be coming out of there own money and not the clubs…… so sim probably lied when he said we were better financially but can’t give the gaffer a decent enough budget

Didn’t Sim say we were financially better with the sponsors, Commerical, Merchandise sales, TV money, the Celtic and Aberdeen money but cutting a budget that him, BoD and McGlynn caused

If that is the case and he is a Grade A C**T so is our BoD so it’s a match made in heaven

That apparent striker was the boy who went to partick Alegria or however you spell it he wanted partick as it was closer to home type thing

That last bit is right up thomsons street according to Kelty fans, he plays attractive football, plays youth, Can get strikers firing and probably wouldn’t sign a Grade A C**t in DG

So it’s looking like Kevin Thomson is the favourite at 2/1 does anyone think this will be a good appointment just wanting some peoples thoughts, me personally think it’s better than the shite that on the list apart from Ian Murray

I know it’s legal requirement but maybe they’ve got there man in mind already but doing interviews and applications as it law

This recruitment process could just be a smoke screen, and they already know who they want in and making it look like they’re doing a proper process

I think it’ll be Kevin Thomson he’s favourite and seen it in a few news articles

He can probably play left wing, the lads got a great engine on him as well can get up and down the park for 90 minutes and doesn’t look out of breath

He can also Play RM/RW where I personally think he’s better there than as a RB, if Livi do sign him maybe Martindale converts him into a winger, it’s just speculation and rumours at this point tbh

I personally think Spencer stays at championship level like Hamilton or someone like that or lower half premiership
