The fact that we can bring players like Callum Smith, Aidan Connolly and Jamie Gullan off the bench when last season we were bringing on William Akio and Connor McBride is a massive, massive testament to John Potter and Ian Murray’s recruitment in the summer. Among the excitement we’ve also got one of our one back on the bench finally. If we do a good January who knows how far we can go!

What a season this has been so far! I can’t remember the last time I was genuinely buzzing for every game. 1 loss in the league and we’re in December. When’s the last time that was the case? Murray has built an immensely hardworking and talented team. Every single one of them has a never say die attitude. We still even have a couple of players to come back into the eleven! Hopefully not speaking too early but this could be a very, very good season. COYR!

Just seen Tony Spencer from the CC has passed away. Used to play against him at 6’s a lot. RIP Tony

I’m not sure Spencer will be as effective without RH8 next to him, but he is still certainly a level above any midfielder in that division.

Five times the charm.

Spencer and Miller are great signings. Wasn’t sure of Lang near the end here but he’ll definitely be more than capable at League 1. Will take some doing for yous not to skoosh that league.

Vaughan all day.

Wouldbe happy with a 5th or 6th place, building on last season. Need a few centrebacks and a few more capable defensive backups and I think we’ll definitely get 5th.
