  1. I genuinely feel a massive sense of relief, although I know in my head that only half the battle has been won. The board first of all, need to go as soon as possible. The way they have treated OUR club is nothing short of disgraceful. After so many years under Alan Young and Eric Drysdale ripping the utter piss (loaning out Vaughany, Ryan Stevenson playing in goal are just a couple of examples) it finally felt like we had our club back under Bill Clark and co. I desperately hope Mr Clark and Mr Mill return to the board when we get rid of the rats that are currently sat there. They have showed over the last few years that they really do care about the club. Who knows where we’d be if Clark wasn’t fighting for us during the first lockdown. As for McGlynn and Smudger, I am at a serious crossroad. My head desperately wants them out, as what McGlynn has done is unforgivable. But also feeling like I don’t want it to end this way. I do however feel we will see them depart soon. What I’d also like to say is the treatment of Benedictus, our club captain is utter ridiculous here. He could’ve and should’ve been advised that Goodwillie wasn’t going to play for the Rovers, and he has made himself look like a bad guy in this story. I really hope he isn’t given dogs abuse for this, stick to shouting at him for making howlers. Will this be the end of Raith? Most likely not. Will it be a long and difficult road back to regain the trust of fans and get them back on side? I seriously hope it is. (Buy the club Val!!)
  2. Goodwillie is ultimately the winner here. Will get a hefty pay off and a few years of sitting on his arse. Rapey c**t.
  3. Gub this man. Having a good day trying to forget about all this until I see the RaithTV news, honestly f**k this. @Roath Raver hope you enjoy your weekends that have since freed up. Thank you and the rest of RRFCTV for making it so easy to follow what was our team. All the best from every decent supporter.
  4. Can’t imagine that thread ever being deleted by the sounds of it.
  5. Hasn’t that been the Raith thread for 12 years?
  6. Trying to focus on the football. Two good goals from Raith, Zanatta and Connolly playing well. Stanton and Ross class above.
  7. Real Limmy vibes here, “Don’t back down, double down.”
  8. Not looking forward to this in the slightest… Can’t see me going back to Stark’s in the near future after this.
  9. If you need to talk to anyone about this mate don’t hesitate to message me or another level-headed poster on this site. Not been on it for long at all but seems like there is a lot of decent people.
  10. Hello everyone, I’ve never posted on here before but have frequently visited the site over the last 6 months and view a lot of Rovers content on Twitter and Facebook. The signing of David Goodwillie circulated every couple of transfer windows and was always laughed off as something that cannot and will not happen. Today that has clearly changed. The signing of a convicted rapist isn't something a community club, a lower league club, a junior club or even a pub team would ever silly themselves with. We have done that. This one has hit me quite bad in particular. As a close friend of a rape victim, that I stayed up with talking and trying to help, in any way possible with the trauma they have had after that night and has had since that they still deal with, makes me feel nauseous. How can we have done this? The Rovers have had a strong community spirit until tonight, all gone for what? The slim possibility of promotion? It’s a ridiculous thing to have done. I’ve always looked at John McGlynn as a good, football man, who always seems to build a good dressing room. How can he let this happen? I’ll be at Stark’s tomorrow with my old Granda, and I can’t see a time that I’ll be back, and it really fucking hurts thinking that, never mind saying it. As a supporter of the club that I’ve supported all my life, this is just..
