Nice!!!

Shows you Sky must be fed up of the overrated Edinburgh Derby which so often is low on quality from both sides.

Livi v Motherwell is live on Sky on Wednesday night.
That's brilliant!! Sorted for mid week. Not sure what I want result I want from Livi v Well, 0-0 probably. Very much depends on how County do against St. Mirren. If, somehow County manage to win, then may even support Livingston for the night. Avoiding a play off would be massive!!
St. Mirren though will be up for this, a European place at stake, deservedly so as well. Been a great season so far for Saints!

Very patronising behaviour from Rogers there!

Yeah, it's a strange game to be on TV, not complaining, but thought they would have picked Hearts v Hibs or Livingston v Motherwell. I would have preferred the latter as going to the match anyway, and Livi v Motherwell would be intriguing from a relegation perspective. Besides Edinburgh derby is often boring with little decent football being played.

Forgot the final was on this afternoon 3pm K.O.
Hope Liverpool win, simply because can't stand Chelsea and would like to see Andy Robertson get another cup win.

I'm sure the whole nation will be watching this one with it being live on Sky, hehe
The rest of the Premiership matches happening on Wed.
St. Mirren will be big favourites, just hope with the Livi win this weekend, confidence will be raised within the County team. Does anyone know how long Dhanda is out for? If still injured I expect similar team to Sat. Maybe perhaps Josh Sims deserves a start, or at least brought on a bit earlier as a sub after his goal at the weekend. Would be great to see White get on the scoring sheet, he has been off form for a while and definately appears low on confidence. A goal or two here would give him a huge lift.

Just County, St. Johnstone and Aberdeen the fighting to avoid the play off place... If Motherwell win today. Kettlewell seems to have changed things around for 'Well.
Realistically it's probably going to be County in the play off position. What a laugh it would be if it's Aberdeen!

Well deserved, great goal too!

Celtic look nervous as f**k
It's astonishing to see, they are a shadow of the team last year. Reckon Motherwell could win this.

Not often I want either of the old firm to win, but in this match hope it's a comfortable victory for Celtic.
St. Johnstone, Motherwell and funnily enough Aberdeen the teams County could possibly catch. Doubt it will be Aberdeen, but would be funny if so...

If you think they over ran us yesterday in the second half because Dhanda wasn’t playing then you know heehaw about football.
They changed at half time to play with more width (Mackay RW, Double LW), Cowie kept us playing narrow. Stevie Wonder could see they were outnumbering us in the middle/their forward position. That’s nothing to do with personnel and solely to do with the number of bodies.First of all I didn't say that anywhere in relation to Dhanda. It's you misreading things. Does happen I suppose on forums. You mentioning the midfield working their socks off, 2nd half this definately wasn't the case! Livi changing their shape, of course they were going to try something diffferent. Perhaps things could have been changed earlier too adapt to the change of shape, like when the Livi 1st goal went in. Livi had to go for it in that 2nd half and they certainly did! When the equalised I was fearing the worst.
As for not playing Dhanda, having a player with the ability & skill he has, I do think he will be needed for the matches ahead. There is a reason why Hearts, the 3rd best team in the country were after him in Jan and why he has signed a pre-contract with them. Don't see much interest from other top teams for any of the other County players under contract. Wonder why that is?
Wickens does look to be a great keeper, that's why I guess he is under contract to Fulham. Definately the best of Adams signings. However I'm sure he won't be sticking around and signing a contract at the end of the season. Loan deal finishes and he will be back down the road.
Feel sorry for Laidlaw as he has played good this season, being dropped until the end of the season will have an affect on his confidence. Saying that, I'd hope to see Wickens stay in the team. His saves kept County in the match, anything that helps the team stay in the league.

Well I agree I think the team played better through the midfield without him he clearly has talent but we seemed to have a better balance today for me
A better balance? Really! 1st half maybe, definately not in the 2nd though! Livi were all over us in the 2nd half.
As much as I'm delighted with the win, pleased for Don Cowie, County were not winning the midfield battle for the majority of that 2nd half! Would you be saying the same if it had ended 2-2?
It was a lucky win in the end, equal 6 shots on target, but some of those Livi shot off target were damn close! 18 to 13 in favour of Livi... for a home game against the team that are bottom!
Let's not play Dhanda then for the remainder of the season if that's yer thoughts...

The fan phone in is ridiculous as is the song selection, tho to be fair Chris Sutton picked some good tunes. I despair at how BAD Sportsound has become. I'd like more chat & interviews from the lower leagues, it's pretty much ignored.

Dunno, we still need someone to take corners and free kicks. Was odd seeing Murray take a direct free kick.
Dhanda has superb delivery for free kicks, corners, one of the best in the league. Well at least outside the old firm. County will need him for the play off/ relegation battle IMO. Too good.
While I do think he hopefully, only temporarily, appeared to have taken his foot off the pedal a bit. Perhaps being overly keen to join Hearts before his contract ended? Just speculating of course.
Just hope when he returns to the team we see the quality that he undoubtedly has. If he wants to be considered for starting Hearts matches next season, it is in his interest to play well right up to the end. No player wants relegation on their CV as said before.
Murray as our top scorer needs to be in the box, not taking the free kicks I reckon.
I really hope to see Don Cowie, a Dingwall Academy lad do well. It's nice hearing a Dingwall accent during his interview there, hehe
Every match is huge now. St. Mirren at home on Tuesday is a difficult prospect and County for sure will have to defend better than they did today if they want anything from the match. Great to see a victory today, to turn around the form. Onwards & upwards

What (if anything) would you say we deserved based on the 90-100 minutes performance?
It was great to see Brophy on form in the first half, that 2nd goal was special! I was well happy at half time. Yet, considering Livi are bottom, County are at home, that 2nd half wasn't great at all in my mind. From the very start of the 2nd half, it was Livi doing the attacking & pressing. When they equalised I had the fear Livi would get a winner.
I haven't celebrated a goal like Simms since the play off final!
The fact Brophy had to be subbed (fitness?) and White has been off form for quite a while now. White also looked slow. I can't get too enthusiastic yet about a last min win against the team at the bottom of the league.
How many clear cut chances did County create in that 2nd half? While it's great to get a win, hope that it builds confidence in the team. Let's see how they do against St. Mirren on Tuesday night.
Perhaps a draw would have been a fairer result, yet Livi knew a point wasn't good enough for them, so left spaces at the back IMO.

Farewell Cinch Premiership, it was a good time.
Livi will be missed should they go down, a team that would often take points off the old firm at home. For anyone who dislikes the old firm as much as I do, it will be a big loss to the league. County in comparison have never beaten Rangers.
I still saw a lot of fight in their team today. 2nd half were all over County. County's goaly made a fair few saves.
With Livi playing Motherwell & St. Johnstone next, I wouldn't be suprised if Livi win both games. Then a cup quarter-final against a poor Celtic team. Stranger things have happened. Followed by Hibs, again a winnable match. Play offs still possible. I'm not writing them off yet anyway.

Aye possibly, or alternatively just shows that the OF are operating at a completely (and financially) different level. If this was boxing, the OF wouldn't be allowed to compete at the same "weight" as the other Premiership clubs.

The performances I witnessed for Hearts this season against a very poor Ross County, Hearts haven't looked that great. Shankland being the difference I suppose.
There is no chance Hearts will catch either Rangers or Celtic. I'd be well pleased if it happened, would make the league a bit more interesting, but with Rangers at home & very on form, there was only one winner in that match. Predicable as always...

Michael Stewart pathetic rant against Craig Levein. St. Johnstone's defence will probably keep them in the league.

Game of the day the very close Rangers 5 Hearts 0. Great chance to have County v Livi but naa. Pathetic stuff

Jordon White needs to train harder, FAR too slow with that chance towards the end. Should have sent White out on loan and kept Samuel (and Turner...)
At least Brophy has ability! Even if not fully fit.

There is certainly going to be a lot of matches coming up, Tue home to St. Mirren, then away to Hibs Sat 2nd Mar, then home to Hibs Wed 13th Mar, followed by home to Hearts Sat 16th March, then Aberdeen away at the end of next month. It's probably a good thing in a way not to have Scottish Cup to deal with amongst that tbh!
I guess Adams had to free money sending Turner & Samuel out on loan, but squad rotation will be needed. I do get the feeling Dhanda may have been a bit peeved he didn't get to join Hearts in the Jan window, however I'm still hopefully when fit, he will snap out of it and go back to giving his all. Would be superb to avoid the play offs this time. If County can somehow get a win Tuesday night, then I'm gonna be glued to the TV watching Livingston play Motherwell on Wed (like the County match, also live on Sky).
