I’ve no time for anyone with this mindset.
Well, quite a few County fans had a similar mindset with Malky... Fair enough tbh

Hopefully, Aberdeen players down tools here...

Last time I started a thread for the Aberdeen match I was quite confident that County could win both matches. Instead County got completely thrashed 4-0 at Pittodrie. Pathetic it was! Then a few days later were again extremely poor in that 1st half league Cup match with that Shinnie wonder goal it has to be said. While there was a late fightback, I was really pissed off that they lost that game especially as Aberdeen were off form up until that double header. Was a real wasted opportunity for a semi final.
I don't know what to expect for this league game. Disappointed that County let a 2-0 lead slip against Hearts, as soon as Hearts scored I just knew they'd equalize.
For Tuesday's match, again should be looking at winning this. Hope there is a good crowd. Aberdeen do bring big support each time it has to be said.
Like I mentioned last time, perhaps Aberdeen fans may in a way want to lose to get rid of Robson? When last did County beat Aberdeen? I can't remember tbh. Would like to see White or Brophy get a goal, Murray too. Anyway, can see a score draw which won't help either team. Big match for County definately!

It hadn't even crossed my mind until you started denying it Now I'm HIGHLY suspicious (although I believe the terminology you're looking for is "big team").
It's from Highland League days, anyone my age back then did have a 2nd team. No chance of promotion either.
Mine was neither of the old firm, nor Aberdeen. Will leave ya's guessing tho

Can only see an easy a win here for Rangers.
Rangers appear to have landed themselves a decent manager in Clement. Got a feeling that Rangers may go on to win the league, as Celtic have gone backwards with Rodgers. (No, it's no 2nd team thing though it sounds like it.)
Unless it's a faultless defensive performance from County, I fear the final scoreline. A hammering here after Adams recent comments also won't look good. Not confident, but County have to beat Rangers someday. Never happened though doubt it will happen at Ibrox this Wed.

Not an easy day for many, Christmas. Whether problems, arguments with family & annoying relatives (in laws etc) or if spending Christmas alone.
Hope anyone with depression, anxiety etc does well today.

We already have a winter break coming up. Nothing wrong with football on Christmas weekend. It’s an entertainment business and Christmas football is a great way to start the holidays.
Totally agree, my family, nephews etc were planning on going. Disappointing.
Saying that, from a County point of view think it would have been a big win for Hibs. So probably best it's off.

If Murray joins, then will certainly be a great signing. Maybe not be a big goal scorer Premiership. In the Championship he will rip it up like at Queens Park.
Not many players these days I take to, but he tries his heart out in each and every match. Runs for everything, is super fit, his attitude alone lifts the other players.

Some illuminating comments from Adams.
- Changing the working week for the players, so they have Wednesdays off rather than Mondays
- It explains a recent fixture change for the Motherwell match at Fir Park to a Tuesday. I do remember Adams always wanting his fixtures on a Tuesday night.
- That would make the work-life balance harder to stomach for those who still have families outside the Highlands. Bust-up or not, if Murray's family are still in Dundee for example, you can see why he would soon want away.
- Malky did many things wrong, but he did work on making it as attractive as possible for players to sign for the club. Adams only wants short-term contracts with no prospect of players going home for 48 hours. Why would players play in Dingwall with no job security and little prospect of regularly seeing their families?
I hope I'm proved wrong but I think the lack of empathy by Adams will be his undoing.
Lack of empathy, couldn't have put it better.

In past times, it would be on for sure. Light snow on the ground in Dingwall and the current light rain (getting heavier as the morning goes on according to metoffice) will melt it.
It's the risk to travel thing that may make it postponed. If on, safe travel to all the Hibees

How strong are these Simon Murray rumours? Would be a huge loss for County if it were to happen. Excellent attitude, runs for everything and scores and creates a fair amount of goals. Would be even better in the Championship.

OK, just got up Opened curtains light snow, but raining now...

(In a play off if that were to happen)

Yes, also seeing far too many Dundee Utd fans certain Simon Murray is a done deal in Jan.
That will be IMO a huge loss. If County could at least least keep him for the full season I'd be happy. According to the United fans, Jan move is certain. With his positive attitude, great work ethic and goals. Can't see where we would get a like for like replacement. There are better players out there of course, but on a budget and trying to convince them to move up here. It's his work ethic I like, runs for everything and that rubs off on the other players.
Looking like play offs, or relegation if Livingston pick up form. Adams will be judged in his signings. I'm not confident at all sadly. Partick, Raith or Dundee United will win I reckon.

I can't see a County win here, hopefully proved wrong.

Constant light rain in Dingwall this morning, match should hopefully be on. Hopefully there is no 'risk to travel' BS as mentioned above. You never know these days....

If Hibs get a comfortable win here, say 0-3 or more then I will start to worry.
I'd be happy with an extremely boring draw tbh. Hehe

Ok, I was at the game yesterday, a last minute goal to lose any game is hard to take. But wtf is Derek Adams going on about, imo he needs to (attempt to justify) or apologise for his comments. I understand he's emotional but if he's not able to compose himself to do a post match interview, then he shouldn't do one. What he's done is ridicules himself, and the club.
I don't think it's a stretch to imagine MacGregor, and the board will be questioning how we have got ourselves into this situation, and how we get out of it.
It was perhaps a message to MacGregor to get his checkbook out. Sure, we need a few more quality players but how? Look at some of the wages being paid in the worse quality League 2 IMO.
The next match against Hibs is going to be massive. Unfortunately, I don't see a County win. A big defeat here and well, I will know who I will blame....

Absolutely bat shit mental decision to bring on Sheaf for Dhanda when we were totally in the ascendancy. Also a bat shit mental decision from whoever it was that flew into the tackle before the free kick. So unneeded. Deserved to lose for those two instances of naïvety alone.
Why is Dhanda getting subbed? Is there a reason?
The Adams interview is VERY embarrassing. Was pleased to see Malky gone don't get me wrong. However already I can see Adams is going to lose the dressing room fast if he hasn't already today! It was a very risky, rushed appointment I felt. I do hope it works out in the end, but I had serious doubts at the time. Now even more so. Even telling the paying customers to stay away, WTF!
If County can be lucky with injuries, I do believe we have a team that can stay up. There are worse teams in this league. However, saying pish like that without apologising to the players. What was he thinking? I'm sure he is obviously hurt after a last min winner, but still a bit more composure and thought.
I thought it was a fairly even game, that Dundee shaded. Dundee as I've said are not going to be near the relegation battle this year. Top 6 even.
The Hibs game now at home next Sat is huge. Will this interview motivate the players?

Can you stop recycling old jokes please!?
Thank you.
Hey man, County relegated United and I was there for the 0-3 victory towards end of season (White hatrick) day. What a match that was!!! Could feel the tension and when those goals were scored. Was like a cup final! You should be thankful, hehe

Spoilt ballot is the way to show all these fucking imposters what I think of them. I did it in the local elections and hurtling towards the same this time around.
The SNP are a simmering wreck that needs to go down before it goes up.
A spoiled ballot is a vote for the Tories.
While I despair at the state of Starmer's Labour (almost Blue Tories) I know I would still prefer a Labour government than the ever increasing racist right wing Trump like Tories. 13 years, it can get A LOT worse!!!
SNP do need to go down a little to go up. Labour can't be seen to be doing any deals with the SNP down south, as more would vote Tory then.
Tactical voting, I a Labour coalition with say Lib Dems would help SNP I reckon. Anyone but Tory party.

Tam Courts looks on paper to be the best option...
The only good Mackay could possibly do for QP would be to bring Simon Murray back down the A9 with him. We've been a hollow shell of a club since he was sold.
Simon Murray has been a great signing for County. His attitude & work ethic even when not scoring is superb. A premiership level player all be it a botttom 6 type side.
Tam Courts or Dick Campbell best options.

That's great that RCFC TV making a return, is this just a one off? Would be great to have that option for future matches. Especially in cold weather.
I've got older relatives that would go to more matches, yet when it's baltic just can't. It's a shame when younger would attend regularly. Health conditions as well stop me sometimes, even though I have a season ticket.
