  1. Cutler were out the night before at a event at Migintys hence the poor showing
  2. Club shown more stupidity in my view removing these already. Not sure why they didn’t just stick with them to the end of the season as you can’t start building until the close season. Were ideal area for families instead of kids trying see over the top of Mannies standing in front of them. Of course life outside the jobber corporate doesn’t matter.
  3. Gone full Mick Foley and dropping comments like that to get fans on side.
  4. I played in the AFCCT game for the stadium opener against the ex Aberdeen players. We had a tour round and on the pitch the night before. Duncan little came over and spoke to us all. He was saying there is a chance to expand the stadium in the future depending how far they go up the leagues. Hope you lot are looking at tarring the sand areas. Not great when you head up after a downpour for the trainers. The green mats down are ok but not when you have come off them to let someone pass
  5. Handy to know. Been good as been taking my son up. Noise in the main stand would be to much for him so been nice pick a little corner to sit and watch.
  6. This taking place during the close season?
  7. The only similarities between this side and I’m guessing you mean Willie Millers 94/95 side is they both are underachieving considering how good a teams they were/are
  8. Bringing back memories of the classic sports shops. I remember Intersport in the Bon Accord having A reduced shelf and there being Falkirk and Airdrie shirts there. Never see that again. my mum worked in Olympus sports world when it opened seen it through sports division to JJB. Was great getting discount on my football tops, snooker cues and trainers. your sports direct and JD have are just shadows of those old classic sports shops
  9. This where the problem lies. Miovski will be off in the summer. No doubt a few too. I have no faith in the board rebuilding a decent team that will challenge for Europe when in space of a year they can’t even source an permanent manager to the club
  10. Certainly seeming more like a tick box for the bucket list for him. Becoming the sort of manager that sky sports news love and class as Superman of the second part of the season as he comes save some random, lower league team. To be honest him and Cormack seem like a good pair who are very alike and not a good way for our club. what worries me most that this is now the second time in a year them in charge don’t seem to have a clue who to go for as a proper permanent manger
  11. The percentage picking Cove over Aberdeen will be very low. There is a bus that runs from cove to Pittodrie and back arranged by the club. only hope is to attract some extra fans when Aberdeen are away. I live in Cove and never any output from the club to promote the game in the area. A small sign next to shell garage pointing you in the direction off the stadium is closest you see. The manager of the local Coop had even been in touch with the Club to see if he could help to promote more in the area as he does a lot of work here and all he got was radio silence as per. i spotted on twitter Arbroath promoting a family event for the Raith game next Friday. Domino pizza, unlimited juice, fifa set up, seats in the stand and pie and drink at half time. Yeah it’s £25 but includes your ticket. This what cove need to be tapping into get the future generation in instead of making sure the jobber of the oil world enjoy their sandwiches and crawl out the ex players lounge not knowing where they are and half them I doubt will know half the Cove team. They have even giving up on the little club shop truck they had. Hasn’t been open all season. Only chance you have to get any Cove Rangers merchandise is getting it sent up from Glasgow from a local sports shop. Go to Pittodrie on a match day and the club shop has queues out the door how you going get the next fan base behind when they ain’t got a chance to get a scarf or top to get behind the team.
  12. A lot of players came here due to Mciness many said that previously when joining the club. Mciness got lucky as a spine of a team was in place under Brown Mciness strengthen that with some signings in the fist few years. One that team broke up in 2017 to me he never really built another team to that strength again. As the seasons went on it got worst. He signed a few duds in his time too. The recruitment model came in more the time of Goodwin I feel. Glass missed out on it and was left scrambling for what he could get. Not having a long term manager in place has hindered our progress too in the transfers we’ve made.
  13. I hope Cormack takes his cheque book with Him and brings back Armstrong with him. doubt we are going see another gaols galore as Mciness will keep it tight. I
  14. I went cove too. From the few games I went to some of the away section was outnumbering the home fans.
  15. Good post. I feel for fans like yourself who are there home and away most weeks who seem to have been forgot about for the jolly outing boys. The old players lounge could have been made in to an entertainment room prior to kick off for the kids, get face painting, music some sort of challenge the keeper more chance of attracting the future fan base. Never going to compete with taking fans from Aberdeen but you might attract some especially if the players started doing appearances at kids training now and then! The old guard aren’t going to be around for ever to keep the funds coming in. The board have to be looking over their shoulder at what’s happening down the road at Spain Park. If BOD do make into the league in the next few years I can see many being like ships in the night and heading down there as it will be new and shiny.
  16. I’m sure agents look at our set up regarding recruitment and get the cigars out
  17. Did think might been a part time deal but wasn’t sure the club would still be dishing them out with the push to full time. Fyvie is a bit of a gem for you guys so can see why maybe keeping even at PT works. Interesting to see how the deals work or come to anything for the PT players left
  18. Has Fraser Fyvie signed a full time deal or he’s he still on a part time one with his new deal? Typical of your clubs social media posting half a story on the socials. I did ask this last night as he was mentioned but my dig at the man behind the socials being more interested in slanting the team down near the beach ended up my comment being taken down
  19. Nothing against the guy as do feel he’s been thrown to the wolves a few times being played out of position. still feel the recruitment recently we’ve had the piss out of whoever broker’s these deals. We wanted to sign player X but the agent has said you need to take player Y too. Is it Gun who deals with transfers and agents?
  20. Really surprised that Morris is still around when he was signed same time as Richardson and Roberts who were both punted
  21. They truly are the spoilt child. Try being a fan of the other teams in the league
  22. Difference is Bavidge has been through the youth set up from the club and gets it. Shankland semmed to have the attitude that he made it when he signed for us
  23. You boys fancy your chances against EK if you do win the league of course?
