  1. Haven't tried the pie but the price list is criminal. Gonna miss the wee pie hut at Ochilview
  2. During the awards ceremony they said 500 people have been through the turnstiles
  3. You were right! He just signed for another year. They announced it on the PA system haha
  4. God this thing is hideous. And very distracting I should say. You just can't avoid seeing it.
  5. Why the f*** did we build this place? It's an excellent base and a state of the art training facility but definitely not a stadium haha
  6. Couple of more signings tomorrow and that test event this Saturday will turn into a party
  7. I don't think you want to go down that road unless you'd really like the team you support to be bought by a Saudi billionaire some day because that's exactly where it leads to. Here is an excellent article on why financial transparency matters in football and how Scottish clubs are particularly bad at it: https://www.theoffshoregame.net/financial-transparency-fans-despite-football-authorities/ I especially urge you to read the section on "persons of significant control" (PSCs) and then check: https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/SC005382/officers Do you see the name of that "someone" supporting QP financially listed as a PSC? No, you don't. This is how clubs go bust after enjoying an unsustainable growth spurt under the wings of a "guardian angel". This is how they alienate the fans. The more secretive clubs are the more corrupt the game. In the case of "Which clubs publish what their employees earn? It's nobody else's business", all MLS clubs do by law... just an example. It's what best for everyone including the players, their agents, and of course the fans.
  8. This is what I'm talking about for example: https://bjk.com.tr/tr/mobil/haber?news_id=85406 Translation: Welcome Home Vincent Aboubakar Beşiktaş Futbol A.Ş. reported to PDP that the transfer process of professional football player Vincent Aboubakar has been completed. The statement sent from Beşiktaş Football Investments Industry and Trade Inc. to the Public Disclosure Platform is as follows: “For the transfer of Professional Football Player Vincent Pate Aboubakar, a contract has been signed with the Player for two and a half years plus one year option, effective from 21 January 2023, until the end of the 2024-2025 season. The player will be paid a net 1.140.000 Euro signature fee and a net 1.555.000 Euro for the 2022-2023 season, in addition to the net guarantee fee of 3.110.000 Euro per season for the remaining seasons, a maximum net per game fee of 12.000 Euro per match depending on the duration and competition type. ”
  9. As soon as I posted it, I thought about the same thing (GDPR). I guess it's because QP is not a PLC with shares in the stock market. Back in Turkey, all clubs that are PLCs, -and most of them are-must report contract details of all employees to a Board called the Public Disclosure Platform open to the public so I'm not used to this kind of secrecy or privacy.
  10. That's exactly why I'm asking. I don't like the idea of non-public contracts. In the absence of transparency and full disclosure, speculation and conspiracy thrive.
  11. It's Robin Veldman https://www.vi.nl/nieuws/schotse-stuntclub-kiest-voor-nederlander-als-nieuwe-trainer
  12. "Critically, the SFA will be financially recompensed in a manner that lets me ensure that we can bring another pitch. At least one or two more 3G pitches we can fund to help go down. "We also secured a sensible return for the SFA to make sure that we can continue to build the funding that we need to get pitches throughout the length and breadth of Scotland. We need pitches." OK, exactly how much did we pay these f**ckers? He seems too happy about the deal.
  13. The thing with Lesser is the pitch & infrastructure (changing rooms etc.) are perfectly ready for two teams to play a 90 min game of football, but I wouldn't be surprised if there would be serious limitations on crowd size during the home games we'll play at Lesser due to it not being up to regulation. In fact, no fans may be allowed at all. I think the options are: a) no fans b) small size home crowd only c) small size home crowd & even smaller size away crowd. I think it's going to be no fans. I hope I'm wrong. Then there's the issue of season tickets. Since Hampden Park will be our home ground for the season, season ticket sales and seat allocations will have to be based on this decision. It's still a mess which is what QP is all about haha
  14. Out of those two options: lucky guess, of course. There's no such thing as inside knowledge as far as QP is concerned because there is no knowledge inside.
  15. Well, turns out it wasn't a fantasy (sort of) at all haha
  16. Based on nothing but pure fantasy, I think we will reach an agreement with the SFA, register "Hampden Complex" as our home ground, play the first few games at Hampden and move on to Lesser permanently as soon as it's ready and up to regulation. I don't see us playing elsewhere this season. It's just not possible.
  17. I think you're right about Italy. The information on Wikipedia is misleading.
  18. Turkey has only one body: TFF, Turkish Football Association. Post-Google search edit: So do Italy, The Netherlands, and France.
  19. It's been 10 days since OC quit. The only reason I can think of why we still haven't hired anyone is that whoever they are, they are currently employed and we are waiting for them to resign from their club. The other alternative is we are still looking but I don't want it to be the case. I mean I really hope that is not the case.
  20. I'm a QP fan and I would really like PT to compete in the Championship next season so that I can keep watching proper Glasgow derbies but I wish them and their fans best of luck in their promotion push from the bottom of my heart.
