  1. India were awful in the West Indies and they have been even worse in England. Only Drahvid looks interested. Shame for those expecting a classic series. Thus England team will hammer sides who turn up playing like India. Fletcher has it all on to get his charges going again.
  2. Can't remember the last time I saw Klaasen win on telly. Looks good in small bursts but is a mental midget. Small point but he looks like an amateur without a proper darts shirt. Looks like some bloke whose just got out of the crowd.
  3. Why has Peter Wright now decided to represent Scotland ? Is it simply a personal thing and for whatever reason he know wants to represent the country of his ancestry OR is there a darting reason i.e. more chance of getting into team events etc ??
  4. This seems to assume Nicholson would beat a below par Taylor no matter how well or badly Nicholson himself is actually playing. Which is of course complete pish. Nae offence an aw rat.
  5. Cavendish is a great sprinter and deserves tremendous credit for all the stages he's won. But he's never going to win a big stage race like Le Tour, Giro, Vuelta etc and as such can never be regarded as one the absolute top cyclists out there. For me winning one mountain top stage to Alpe D'huez beats any number of flat sprints you want to mention. Nothing against Cavendish. Just feel he gets too much attention when in this sort of race he's out the back half the time.
  6. Hope not. Wasn't Landis on drugs hence his DQ.
  7. Aye. He was total pish in the Premier League.
  8. Aye, yer right. However, I'm sure the PDC and Sky would love it if Nicholson could justify selection in a few months time.
  9. Does Terry Jenkins or Mark Webster ? Not all 8 can be showtime.
  10. Still time I suppose for someone to do a "Whitlock". Plenty of events left and a decent run at the next World Champs could get someone in. Think we need to see Nicholson competing on a consistent basis before he becomes a PL lock. Like him or loathe him he is box office.
  11. Nicholson for the Premier League anyone ?
  12. Happy to see Taylor lose but it doesn't lessen the fact that Nicholson is a complete tart.
  13. Decent effort from Murray at the French. Losing a long match to Nadal is no disgrace. Think people need to accept Murray is the fourth best player in the world and as such getting to the last four of a GS is good result. Too many arseholes seem to think Murray should win every tournament he plays in and not to do so is a slight to the memory of real legends such as Tim Henman and Jeremy Bates.
  14. The lad playing Mardle just hit treble 12 when going for treble 20. Presumably these qualifiers are better than they are showing. Nerves must be killing them.
  15. Brilliant to see Ando claim his first big PDC tv tournament. Would most people view the premier league as the biggest event to win outside of the world champs ?
  16. Watched it this morning and he was clearly rattled by something at the start of his walk on. Anyone hear any more details on what actually happened ?
  17. I'd imagine quite a lot of Scottish parents have their sprogs born in Berwick simply because it will have the major maternity facility in that part of the borders. He's clearly 100% Jock and proud of it.
  18. Webster has had a fair few absolute tankings.
  19. The bloke is on fire. Has cut out the double faults and improved his net game. Net result is a winning machine. Fascinating to see how he gets on during the clay court swing.
  20. Lendl was my favourite player back in the day. Not sure of his coaching credentials but he was a fighter who maximised his talent and won eight slams.
  21. Good end to the match from Anderson as he won the last three legs. Still doesn't look at his best but just good to get back to winning ways.
  22. Murray loses in his first match at the Miami Masters 1000. Lad who beat him was a 27 year old US journeyman called Alex Bogomolov Jnr who is ranked outside the top 100. Murray only held serve three times in ten attempts in losing 6/1,7/5. Second 1000 in a row he has been pumped by a complete nobody. He even managed to lose before the SKY coverage of the event begins today. Andy's response to the current crisis was to make his 25 year old best pal his new coach. Murray has already admitted that this bloke (Dani Valverdu ?) will have limited technical input and is really only there to keep him company. Expect more embarrassing results and feeble capitulations to unknown challenge tour players until further notice. Sad waste of a great talent.
  23. I'd say it's time for a new coach but Murray is a stubborn sod and seems to want to stick with his current posse. For me Andy is treading water and he will never fulfill his potential without a new voice in his corner. Andy still has the same problems he's had for ages (unreliable serve, loss of focus) and shows no sign of sorting them. Think it's decision time for Andy.
  24. Terrible display from Murray. Serve was diabolical, could barely get a first serve in at times. Young played well but 40 odd enforced errors from Murray handed him the match on a platter.
