Aye, good stuff from Gary. Particularly pleasing to see him pump King again. As an aside these "Opens" must be hard on the throwing arm with 7 best-of-11 matches to play in one day. Makes the UK Open look like a cake walk.

PDC have got to get the balance right between bringing in "characters" who are genuinely good at Darts and complete clowns like Mardle who are more interested in inflatable palm trees than hitting treble 20. Must say I love watching the Premier League but Terry Jenkins matches did tend to get avoided. I'd have Anderson in there as the PL would make or break him so let's find out. He's also liked by the crowds.

11-5 Taylor. Anderson just seemed happy to be there. Didn't look like he really believed he could win. Too much head shaking, too much laughing and joking. Taylor won at a canter. Anderson is better than that and needs to learn from his spanking.

Anderson is being mind fucked by Taylor. Hopefully, he's not about to become the new Adrian Lewis. Too much smiling from Anderson. Should be pissed off, not laughing.

Anderson seems to have given up mentally. Wasted so many darts. On top of that Taylor doesn't miss doubles and he'll always make mincemeat of Anderson unless Gary sorts his finishing.

Anderson needs 100 and hits 1 with the first dart. He's having a nightmare.

7-3 Taylor at the break. Looks like 11-4/11-5 final score. Actually turning into a disappointing match.

Both players look like they're running on empty. Anderson playing as bad as I can remember seeing him for a while.

So frustrating. Good scoring but his doubles have been a disaster. Something like 1 from 10. Taylor will kill him 11-2 or 11-3 unless he starts hitting his finishes.

Another brilliant match between Lewis and Taylor...not. 10-2 to "The Power". Why do Sky think Lewis is a threat to Taylor ? He always destroys the sap.

Pumped off Whitlock. As an aside what the heck was Paul Nicholson losing the plot at? Seemed to be giving the crowd 'W(anker)' signs after the match and looked set to jump in and have a scrap. I know he comes across as a bit of a cocky sod but didn't think he wound the crowd up so much.

James Wade pished again by the looks of his attempts at doubles.

Not been on the Darts thread for a few days. Has there been much talk of who might be moving to the PDC ? Personally I'd like to see Hankey (a new pantomime villain to replace Manley) and Waites.

Chisnall playing out of his arse..back to back bull check outs to win the match. Looks like a cracking wee player who will no doubt be PDC bound one day.

Murray and Robbo through to final with another 2-1 win. Murray tanked Igor Andreev 6/0,6/1 while Robbo lost to Dementieva 4 and zip. Once again GB won the doubles. We play Spain in the final. Good to see Murray in decent form with three wins with a combined game score of 36-10 !!

Interesting that when talking to "Wolfie" after his match the Irish bloke made reference to Adams playing an opponent who was sober. Are we to take it from this that Fleet was indeed pished and not simply very nervous on the oche ?

At a net 50-8 I think even Scotland might have forced a win in this one. Watched about an hour last night and the tactics were bizarre. Everybody on the fence,even when Piddle was on strike. Never seen a team so lost as how to win a match. Yousuf should never captain his country again and the coach must go too. It's one thing losing, it's another to appear as if you lost on purpose.

Australian bloke on just now who is the most nervous looking player I've ever seen. Has dropped 2/3 darts, nearly fallen over twice, hit 3 and then managed a double 1 when going for 60.

If you'd seen the Montgomery match you'd know where I was coming from.

Just watched Ross "The Boss" Montgomery reduce his children to tears and the viewing public to hysterics with a truly abysmal defeat to someone called Garry Thomson. Ross led 2-1 in the final set and had at least 7 darts to win the match with his opponent still around 300. Needless to say he didn't come close to a double and ended up losing a match the other bloke couldn't believe he'd won. Think the winning average was about 75. Montgomery was apparently the 6th seed and if so it shows how truly awful the standard in the BDO is. The bloke hit a 1 with almost every 3 darts aimed at the 20. Truly, truly dreadful.

Think you could be right. Taylor has no chance.

Well done to "The Power". Also well done to "The Wizard". Personally I love the board signing gig as it seems to wind people up. The bloke is 15 times World Champ, if he wants to shit on the board at the end of the game the PDC aren't going to stop him
