I wonder if Danny Lloyd’s contract is up on 1st January, 31st or somewhere in between. His departure at that point will definitely free up a wage. For someone who once complained that £80,000pa was “peanuts” he’s been a bit underwhelming.

I imagine Shamal George will be keen to move on and call in some I-used-to-play-for-Liverpool cache while he’s young enough. Getting relegated here isn’t going to look good on his CV. Would be good if he goes somewhere we can get a performance bonus like ‘paid on promotion’ as I don’t think we’re getting a fee right now. Anderson and Stephen Kelly moving on feels like the best move for all parties. They’re definitely two of those on DM’s list of “not up for the challenge”. Welch-Hayes was mentioned in one of the articles about Donnellan as being someone moving out in January.

The jumping and shouting used to match our ‘blood and thunder’ approach at times. It’s probably more noticeable now because there’s such a contrast to the limp performances. We’re certainly not seeing much reaction to the shouting, perhaps once we did.

Nouble chat is interesting around the ether. Either he’s a useless waste of space who shouldn’t be in the squad, or our down-on-his-luck superstar who’s been really hard done by and getting picked on because he’s played three or four games at RWB. Obviously the truth lies somewhere in between. Definitely seems to me his head was inflated with all the transfer chat which came to nothing and now, for some reason, putting in 100% every game is no longer a motivation to making a life changing transfer at the end of the season on a free. Makes me think he’s got something lined up already so he’s not arsed either way.
