  1. We've been shite since the start of December and only the Tannadice game since then is one where we've actually performed like a football team. It's clear as day our defence is so unbelieveably soft. Euan Murray being bullied by every striker he plays against. Our fullbacks not being good enough and Ian Murrays refusal to play Dylan Corr at all despite injuries is baffling. The singing section didn't work tonight but somehow that'll be on the fans and not the shite on the park we've had to endure for well over a month. Next 3 games are the chance to set things right. We've 2 weeks until the next game, the gaffer has his work cut out to turn this around because if we turn up in 2 weeks and play like we did tonight, Dundee United will put 5 or 6 past us. I'm gonna stop before I ramble on anymore.
  2. So.... when we announcing O'Riordan on loan from Blackburn then?
  3. Ah, another person moaning about others opinions without providing their own... It's not that deep bud, let people have their fun. There is a reason no-one in here is the manager of Raith Rovers
  4. Pre-Caley interview with the gaffer https://youtu.be/1MDiCgEo424?si=yBGQhCCQjhS4iIgI
  5. Ah I love it when we all pretend to have a fuckin clue and choose formations and stuff. Let's go with: 3-5-2 Dabrowski Brown RCB Murray CB Dick LCB Millen RWB Vaughan CM Byrne CDM Turner CM Mullin LWB Rudden ST Hamilton ST Millen and Mullen will both work up and down the wings and both have brilliant deliveries. Brown, Dick and Murray as a back 3 give us stability from the back as all 3 are defensively sound (I think Liam Dick is a better CB than LB but that's another conversation). Rudden will do the one thing no other striker seems to do when playing with Hamilton... run in behind in anticipation for all those headers that Jack flicks on. Vaughan and Turner are the creative outlets in the middle of the park. Rabbie Byrnes at CDM needs no explanation. Edit to add: I've only left out Easton as I assume Turner has a clause in his loan meaning he has to play. If not, Easton for Turner in the middle of the park for me.
  6. He's played for us and East Fife this season so if East Fife didn't want to sign him he had to go outside of league football to get game time.
  7. Awesome, I was trying to find something about the signing at Hibs but I only found a FFP post about a transfer. In hindsight, some might regret releasing Ross Laidlaw but based on what we saw of him, he was never looking like he'd be the Premiership goalie he has become. Incredible what the proper coaching can do for you.
  8. I think the question was around players we released or mishandled*. Laidlaw wasn't released on a free, I always thought it was a transfer to Hibs but I'm happy to be educated if i'm wrong. I wouldn't say we mishandled Laidlaw either. He played in some friendlies etc and got some time out on loan but he was never going to usurp The Witch or Cuthbert in goals. One thing is for sure though, he's a player that makes you think "what if..." had he stayed at Raith. Certainly made a good career for himself.
  9. Or they are trying to drive more traffic to other social media channels to boost their engagement since Twitter is the one social media channel that trumps all for engagement.
  10. Nae chance of Simon Murray coming in. Dundee United will throw everything they have at getting him in if he's open to a move to the Championship.
  11. That's the kind of speculation we've been needing!
  12. Exactly, surely it's time for some serious speculating. Which midfielder is Ian Murray gonna sign instead of a defender this transfer window?
  13. It's amazing how being out for so long has people forgetting just how good a fit Ross Matthews really is. It shouldn't even be a question, he should be the partner for Shaun Byrne in the middle of the park with Brown playing CB. I'd like the pair of them in the middle even with a fit Sam Stanton (as it allows Stanton to play further forward where he can really cause some problems). Anyway, since we are all playing Champ Man here, i'll have a go myself for a lineup vs QP. McNeill Corr Brown Dick Matthews Byrne Connolly Easton Gullan Vaughan Hamilton 3-2-3-2
  14. Holy f**k do we miss Sam Stanton. That was shite to watch as a Rovers fan, never made Josh Rae make a decent save all game.
  15. Keith was on the pitch on Tuesday for warm-ups also. Didn't look like he was struggling as he took part in a lot of ball work. Great to see him back out there and also that the team are not rushing him back so he gets plenty of time to recover fully.
  16. If ever there was a reason to justify signing up to Club 1883, that email was it!
  17. Agreed. I was enjoying the ramblings of twa neeburs havin a wee blether. There was f**k all to enjoy for a lot of the 2nd half as a Rovers fan so it kept it entertaining
  18. Wild, I got really lucky that I didn't encounter that then. Seems as though it's a known issue though so they'll be quick to sort you out if you reach out to the club as others have mentioned.
  19. You have to make sure you are logged in to the Fanbase account that your Season Ticket is attached to as the bus seats are currently only open to Season Ticket holders. If you are and it still shows that then it means they've already filled the 5 buses they had on the site.
