  1. Just last week it sent a legal letter to the Trust on behalf of 300 TJF members who are also beneficiaries of the Trust. Additionally, it surveyed its members and held an EGM to canvas opinion as it looks, you would think, to hone its strategy. There's plenty over an above that, too, including what appears on the face of things to be a highly effective recruitment drive.
  2. Have the new Trustees ever offered up an explanation for the resignation of the previous Chair in May this year? Or, with that being the 'old' Trust, do they not feel legally obliged to do so?
  3. Lunged into a tackle on the touchline, ref played the advantage, then poleaxed someone in the middle of the park. Yellows for both challenges. Entire sequence happened in the space of a minute.
  4. Seems I seriously misjudged just how badly the PTFC Trust could handle the share transfer based on its latest missive. An organisation in crisis that's stumbling blithely from one comms blunder to the next. Embarrassing.
  5. It would have been advisable for some of the TJF board to have tempered their language on this. And some of the replies about and to the Trust have taken on the air of a feeding frenzy. TJF needs to be careful it doesn't open itself up to accusations of vexatious communications. They've got the moral high ground. I'd like to see them maintain it while continuing to challenge the process.
  6. Lost count of the number of times I could've quoted this. Having a f*cking 'mare, lads.
  7. Based on what I've read this morning, it appears that the gifting of the shares to the Trust has been orchestrated by 3BC, the 'consultancy arm' of a football agency and a current member of the PTFC board. A complete and utter stitch up, in other words.
  8. How can the Chair of Partick Thistle Charitable Trust have no previous relationship with the Chair of Partick Thistle Football Club?
  9. If having no prior experience of running a football club disqualifies you from being a director, then I take it the Trustees had/have major issues with every one of the current board members being appointed to their positions. You seriously couldn't make this crap up.
  10. Attempting to cover up your chair's resignation in the most ham-fisted manner possible has to be up there. And I've now seen questions raised about why a football agent (also a Thistle fan) has been so vocal in his support of the Trust and why he appears to have privileged access to its Trustees and their plans. Looks like the negative news cycle surrounding the share transfer is entering its second day.
  11. On that basis, no. And there's no opt-out for ST holders based on what I can find, which isn't much.
  12. Randle Wilson is a really sound individual with a great track record. But he's undoubtedly damaged his reputation through his association with this sh*tshow. Everything points to a hastily manufactured alternative to The Jags Foundation's proposal, with the complete lack of engagement and failure to address the most obvious questions being the clearest signals. Struggling to think of how things could have gone more badly for the Trust/3BC/club, especially when you factor in the allegations about the Trust's chair's behaviour. An unmitigated disaster.
  13. Presumably the PTFC Trust will claim to have more than 2000 members *if* it turns out to be the preferred recipient of the shares, despite membership involving no conscious action.
  14. It's all gone quite on the new defender front. Have a feeling we were preparing to swap Tunji for Hodson but that's been put on ice due to Muirhead's op.
  15. You've only opened one lane into the city. The fans' group must condemn.
