With all due respect to St Mirren, its not one of our 'glamour' ties so I'm in the same boat. The game down in Livingston was a fairly decent atmosphere considering >50% would have been free tickets. As for the match, we really need something from this I feel. This last couple of months or so we've had a run of games that were all better bets for picking up points, but we've only picked up 6 out of 24 stretching back to the start of September. Hibs and Celtic away before the WC after this does not fill me with hope, so I'd say we are desperate for 3 points.

He is a decent commentator, very balanced. Sometimes the individual clubs media teams are are gormless fuds, but thought he was good. Disappointed not to take taken something from that, felt we were worth a point. Johnson's header has to at least be on target, that was a bad miss.

We've looked pretty decent going forward, bit ropey at the back though. Think if Baldwin doesn't stand directly in front of Laidlaw - twice - he saves Shankland's shot. Thems the breaks though. Hopeful we can get something from this.

Hopefully with Dhanda in there we might actually try and pass the ball through the midfield rather than shelling it long for White. Ohh wouldn't that be nice.

If you were going to pump anyone, it would have been us today. Can't really add much more that hasn't already been said in BB's post. Our midfield is shit and if punting it up the park doesn't work then we're out of ideas. Second half was better, but we for whatever reason we reverted back to type after a promising 10-15 minutes where we created a couple of chances. So frustrating watching County at the moment.

I'd keep Jordi on the right for a while rather than through the middle. I threw out the suggestion of Samuel out wide before the Livi game on the basis that we revert to long punts forward pretty quickly if we are pressed at all - at least it would give us more of a presence than our other wide options. Turns out it was Jordi who came on and done well, so I'd keep him there and play White/Samuel (goals goals goals) through the middle. Not that I want to see us hammer the ball forward at every opportunity, but if that's what's likely to happen then at least try and make it productive.

Up on Skye this weekend so might make this one. With a bit of luck the Livi game has given the boys a bounce and they can at least try and be more assertive in this game. Didn't see so much as the highlights of the Dundee United V Hibs game, so might have interpretated it wrongly but appeared that Hibs missed plenty of chances in that game. Hopefully we can create a bit more than we did last week ourselves and take 1 or 2 of them.

Funny, I thought that the ref was quick to penalise County for minor things that he was happy to let Livi away with, but you're spot on re seeing things differently. For what it's worth Iacovitti was covering, but it was a shit attempt to win the ball from Watson.

Hows that? Genuine question. It wasn't that niggly a game, but the ref seemed happy enough to let some things slide one minute, then ping someone else for the same thing 2 minutes later.

How shite does Callachan need to be to get dropped?

I mean, I'm taking her to a Ross County game - that ship will have long since sailed.
