Oh I just wish I could take back that comment.....I'm ashamed of myself for criticising the podcast....appalled at myself, how will I get through the day? Right enough of that....if considering the podcast puerile, immature, self indulgent and uninformed crap, and at times letting them have that feedback....is construed as bullying....guilty as charged.

The lad's mother who wrote the message would need to give permission for her message to be placed on an open forum. This is a sensitive situation. "Don’t really have anything for or against the lad but if it was doing him well and it was done on a voluntary basis then don’t see what harm can happen with having another pair of hands helping out.".....any idea how cold, detached, and insensitive this sentence sounds? and....."and it was done on a voluntary basis"..............I am not sure the question of remuneration is appropriate here...mind you, it does get one thinking....imagine if we were paying the Board or some of the other volunteers, do you think the appetite to get rid would be sharper?

You can rest assured it is true. Any Branch member on here can attest to this. His poor mother is beside herself` and she has posted a very concerning and damming message on the branch facebook page. It is down to this lady as to whether she spreads the message further afield, but personally I think everyone who supports the Club ought to see this post of hers, Suffice to say, that Lewis is devastated and this situation has adversely affected a very vulnerable young adult to the point of his being referred to mental health services for increased medication such is his distress. Very hard to believe our chairman is involved in the world of advocacy and our Club is portrayed as a "care in the community" Club.

I'll raise you..... Costing us the title when we got promoted. Screwing up a players contract and paying him a large sum of money to hush it up. Constantly over-promising and under delivering, especially with communication he keeps telling us is key and has improved. Actually being delusional enough to target promotion. Overseeing the sacking of a lady who has worked for the club for many years because she put her name on the EGM request letter. Overseeing and condoning the sacking of a vulnerable, disabled, adult club volunteer. This from a person who earns his living in an Advocacy business. Bottom of the heap with a rookie manager still talking shite in pre and post match interviews. Where now? God only knows. They are feckless, they are arrogant, they are useless, they are not fit for duty....and never mind coming back with who else will do it....I'd rather the local Boys Brigade company ran it than this lot of ...Oh and don't bother engaging with the wonderful volunteers, the smoke from their burning martyrdom will choke you in seconds.

Sadly it is not baby steps that were required in this window for purchasing layers and for borrowing players. The board has put us joint bottom of the table of league 2. The numbers for season tickets well down, the Bully Wee fund well down, I would imagine the lottery numbers similarly down, attendances shocking. The Club is in demise at least from a fans willing to continue financially supporting this shitshow and now we have a benefactor, donator -call him what you will who is championing and insisting on a climb back up the leagues and who has apparently doubled his fiscal commitment recently (already been told it's millions) and this is what we get to haul us up the leagues. Yes two very promising kids, but playing with a squad who can't buy a win....someone produced stats recently that were depressing, something like a handful of wins in 70 games........two kids and the return of Martin Rennie and Ray Grant are not in my opinion going to suddenly turn us in to a promotion winning squad under an inexperienced manager, no matter how we would all like that to be the case. This window was the Boards chance to really show us that with the new money, they really meant business. They have failed in my eyes to achieve this. Well, its over to them now....what else can the humble fan do? A well intentioned, if perhaps bungled attempt to overthrow the Board appears to have failed and the Board have cleverly come out of the situation looking stronger and even more untouchable. Time now for them to step up...maybe the new asst manager will be very good, maybe with the help at Board level of Alan Maitland as has been rumoured, will help....but it is their time to prove themselves now, as fans and supporters are most definitely voting with their feet due to the utter rubbish on the park and the embarrassment the fans suffer week on week at the results. Oh and Crown Point is due to be announced very soon, with us being told we have to submit more information.....how does one interpret this? Our "comprehensive and robust" application wasn't so comprehensive and robust after all? Or it gives GCC more valid reason to decline us? Or, we really are in with a close shout and our bid needs tweaking? Hmmmmm.......I am not convinced we are going to be successful, what evidence of experience can Clyde produce that would convince GCC that we could operate a site like CP successfully? Anyhow...it's time to sit back and watch the Board prove to us all they are justified and correct to fight as they have done recently for their seats on the Board and the honour of running a once proud Football Club.

We are told the money man has doubled his offer to the Club in terms of his donation......all well and good...but surely if he's a Clyde man he'd have expedited some of his commitment in order to ensure we got players in during the transfer window. So what if player's value rose exponentially in a short space of time...if he is what was needed pay the money and crack on. At least Leslie has been released back to us from Kilmarnock and Rennie fit again according to Brian McClean.... there may be enough subs on Saturday to have a meaningful kick about at half time.

Click bait - I feel sure you realise the difference between now and then. he had a supportive chairman who actually knew something about football and he hadn't at that stage been lumbered with Graham Diamond. Consider also the difference in player quality...that promotion winning team (should have been title winning - a little board bash there) would take 6 off this current Clyde team. Sadly Danny lost his way and spent all his time ingratiating himself to the support and the Board....if by any remote chance you were serious with this question....it's a resounding no from me.

The Board need help in recruiting players...the manager is a rookie, the Board are clueless on football matters...wonder if they have brought anyone with experience in to help them through this very difficult period? Wonder if even for this very experienced football person...the timing was just too late, maybe he's coming up against negativity from the playing fraternity for Clyde in general.....maybe just maybe his extensive contacts will bear fruit when spending the next few weeks trying to plunder the loan market and the out of contract player market......that is if such a person exists........tonight looks a dead duck....let's see what the AM brings...........
