Maybe…….just maybe mind, new players coming in and unsettling your original squad, or perhaps other teams finding a formula to break you down a bit more, or could it simply be the pressure of potentially winning the league in the minds of the players, perhaps the players putting a huge effort in every game has taken its toll and the guys are simply knackered (because they looked on it and really sharp the times I’ve seen them) it could also be a combination of all of the above?
I think it’s unlikely that anyone would down tools because they heard they might losing their job, in fact I think the polar opposite is more likely.

    This

Too many other heeds have gone

oh,don,t think Murray goes out and signs a full back solely on the basis of a fall out with Millen(unsubstantiated)

Depressingly this rumour is probably true, the other rumour being that our manager is becoming more and more distant from the players (and other staff).  Both rumours if true would certainly lead to serious unrest in the dressing room.

You'd like to think this all new and improved RRFC is now too savvy, too slick an operation to commit what would potentially be promotion seeking Hari Kari.  Sadly I think the dramatic difference in the level of commitment on the field since the Tannadice game  lends weight to the rumours.

Just how pathetically amateur would you have to be to accidentally inform a bunch of the very guys on whom you're relying to do the business for you, that they wont be here even if we do go up? The sliding tackle Millen put in against Moult typified the mentality of the Rovers teams pre-christmas, other than a O'Rielly's willingness to get stuck in against the Pars and one very good defensive block by Dick against Airdrie there's not exactly been too much of that determination on show since.  In an acknowledged  tight knit squad if something has come out to rock the boat you can see how it'd affect not just the ones who would now know they're gonners but also their mates who probably thought their employers were better than that.

I hope not, but I wouldn't be surprised if:

Matthews, Masson, McGill Corr, Arnott, Dick, Watson, Millen and Ross are all end of season contract casualties.  In my opinion it's too many to loose and I'd like to see some given more of a chance, I just fear that wont happen.

    Poor from you scotty

Your ITK so should be able to confirm the rumblings within starks 😆

  3. Think the team, players, performances, formations and IM have been comprehensively covered

    Singing section

I,m all for it but the young lads being given a section down the front out in the open ain,t going to generate noise/atmosphere.They need to be housed under the cover of the stand for that

  4. LatapyBairn

Its a funding group/club as opposed to fan ownership, buying shares etc

    Its more a supporters fund

Your subscription will play a significant role in enhancing our football operations, whether that means contributing towards recruitment, expanded data analysis resources, or creating a better environment at Stark’s Park for the squad.

Eg Contributions so far have helped towards a new gym and 600 new stand seats to replace broken ones

Club 1883 Exclusive suggests the Club wanted to share the news a bit early with contributors. In the past early releases, the club has released the same news more widely reasonably quickly, it’s just a little perk for those willing/able to kick in a little bit.

As such, your posting of it undermines the clubs efforts, sorry, but that’s a fact. The club will likely be officially releasing that sort of data soon anyway, so why? Why not just summarize it as a nice financial update to supporters who have been able to support the club?

Every supporter supports the club one way or another, some are just fortunate they can contribute more

I hold shares but the previous board never shared the accounts before the broader support knew.Did it bother?no really so why folk are taking a stropp at someone releasing half year finances on here is laughable

It used to be a great tournament, but it's a long time since I've really felt any excitement about it.  Partially that's the stupid changes to its format, but it's also probably partially because we've barely kicked a ball in it since we last won it 16 years ago.  The league's obviously the bigger priority but clubs like Airdrie win previous little silverware, and there are kids in high school now who have never seen us win anything, so I hope we can do this so they can enjoy it like  I enjoyed our wins in 2000 and 2001 as much as for whatever prize money there is.

Can't make it through to the game itself, so will be watching it on Alba.

Same and one of the reasons i,m unlikely to be there on Friday
