  1. Pitch inspections tomorrow. Cove Rangers 08.00 Linlithgow Rose at 10.00 Elgin at 10.30
  2. Same goes for the NCL. Had a look over at the Clach twitter, not seen them play yet this season. I do like their home top. Probably most if not all the games off in the north tomorrow, Keith game off so likely the Elgin cup game will follow. Doesn't leave many football options.
  3. I think this was the only way we were going to bring someone else in who's not on loan. It does leave us light up front at the moment.
  4. £18 admission so hundreds of fans can watch the back of each others heads is pure Dodgy Darvel.
  5. Would it annoy a lot of folks if the Clach game over on the other side of the river is played tomorrow?
  6. Quite a bit of a thaw just now with much of the snow disappearing. Walked across a park and the ground is soft under foot not frozen so at the stadium with that grass being covered by snow the ground would have been protected from freezing. Though there is a lot of ice about on the roads and pavements. Could this be a tactical delay ploy while we wait on even more players coming back? Allardice and Samuels could be included I've heard.
  7. Funny thing is the game might be called off today but by kick off time tomorrow it could be playable.
  8. Celtic 0-10 Morton Alloa Ath 2-0 Falkirk Arbroath 1-5 Motherwell Cove Rangers 2-3 Ayr Utd Dundee Utd 3-1 University Of Stirling Elgin City 4-2 Drumchapel Utd Hamilton Accies 0-3 Ross County Inverness CT 0-2 Queen's Park Kilmarnock 4-1 Dumbarton Linlithgow Rose 2-3 Raith Rovers Partick Thistle 0-1 Dunfermline Ath St. Mirren 4-1 Dundee Stenhousemuir 0-3 Livingston St. Boycott 10-0 Rangers Hibernian 0-2 Hearts Darvel 0-7 Aberdeen
  9. I see Owen Coyle has defended himself for his disgraceful post match comments about Inverness CT claiming that we are a counter-attacking team and also made comments about Billy McKay. https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/inverness-caledonian-thistle/5288770/queens-park-boss-owen-coyle-apologises-after-caley-thistle-head-coach-billy-dodds-irked-by-comments/ So is Coyle correct and Dodds is over reacting or is Dodds correct and Coyle is out of order?
  10. Plus its a job to read it in the first place.
  11. Queen's Park will be massive favourites for this having won this trophy 10 times. 0-8 Spooders
  12. Have we moved away from the sea? We rarely needed USH if ever and I'm struggling to remember a postponement for a frozen pitch before that was installed. Postponements tended to come from travelling conditions. Wasn't there one for flooding from underneath the pitch? We also had one of the best pitches if not the best in the Scottish Leagues before that was installed. It will be game on.
  13. Why would being Scottish influence his opinion?
  14. To be only 10 points of the top after the poor run we were on. We shouldn't still be in this.
  15. It remains to be seen whether this what appears to be a rant is just because she herself doesn't have the free will to say no to cake so obviously no one else does. Someone in her office must have had a telling for bringing in even more cake and this has had her go 'off on one' to the press to warn the public of the dangers and tackle the advertising brainwashing that goes on that has created this horrific situation, but not in a nanny nation way, definately not. Imagine if this chocolate and cream filled sponge cake armageddon spilled out of the office and into the streets and everyone started giving each other cake. It would be the end of the world. I hope someone had the consideration to bring in a large tray of raw cauliflower for her next time there is cakes and sweeties brought into her office so she can exercise her free will. btw Jebb is a boomer.
  16. All that shite should have come down during the first week of this month. Around the 5th or 6th is the maximum that should be allowed. Anyone who still has their christmas shite up now should be looked upon with narrowing eyed suspicion and knowing slow nods that tell them that we know what they are up to.
  17. With the Dundee v Partick game off this one is void. correct result = 1 point , correct score = 3 points Both Richey Edwards and oneteaminglasgow share the top step as joint champions for the week and top overall. Congratulations. 1/ @Richey Edwards / @oneteaminglasgow 6 pts 3/ @Highlandmagar / @Jamie_M 4pts 5/ @AuAl 2pts 6/ @keyser_soze / @jagfox / @Ayr23 1pt
  18. Age 20, born in Wigan, 5.8 ft, central midfielder, been without a club since released by Burnley last summer. Has played as a defensive midfielder.
  19. Ayr United 2-1 Arbroath Cove Rangers 0-3 Raith Rovers Dundee 1-2 Partick Thistle Hamilton Accies 0-4 Morton Inverness CT 3-3 Queen's Park
  20. According to TM you have the 4th oldest ave. at 25.5 which is young but many of the other Championship clubs also have young squads. Accies have the youngest at 23. source - https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/scottish-championship/startseite/wettbewerb/SC2
  21. Funnily enough I have yet to meet a glass full happy clapper Inverness Caley Thistle poster on here, I narrowly missed CaleyD's contributions to the forum so never experienced that hilarity. From what I've read over the last few months everyone is fed up, pissed off, angry, some just show it more than others. My idea of a classic happy clapper is 'Candide' from Voltaires satirical novel of the same name. "all is for the best in the best of all possible worlds" A good read, I recommend it.
