  1. I had to check to confirm that was a real Tweet from the official account!
  2. I can see where @Arab_R_us is coming from, in fairness. The Old Firm doesn't apply, as they draw their support from across the country, evidenced by the massive number of buses parked around their grounds at home games - annoyingly from towns and cities with clubs of their own. However, I respect clubs like Falkirk whose fans have turned out in massive numbers to watch them play third-tier fitba. Killie have an amazing support, given the size of the town, too. I'm biased, but I think St. Mirren are another example, given Ibrox is 2.5 miles from the Glasgow/Paisley boundary. Ultimately, if the townspeople are disinterested, do they deserve a local club of any stature? Saying that, I always feel for fans of clubs like Livingston and Hamilton that do travel to watch their side. Anyway, I will tune in tonight, but there's nothing really to play for now the play-off places have been confirmed. I might stick a £5 on the result. 2-2 draw?
  3. Will you be returning to Lesser next season? Has any more work been done on the stadium?
  4. I'm not trying to be pedantic, but you could actually lose three of those games and still be promoted. You need to come out on top over three ties. You've already beaten Raith several times. You're currently the form team in the league, having taken 12 points from the last 15. I just worry that you may have peaked too soon, or that after qualifying for the play-offs you may rest players and lose that momentum. Winning becomes a habit. The game against the Premiership side will be tough, but Thistle shat the bed last season. I was at Firhill for the home tie and they mauled County and should have won by a bigger margin. They were 3-0 up, on aggregate, with about 20+ mins to go in Dingwall, and even then they still had the penalty shoot-out.
  5. Folk literally park a mile away and walk it! You could try The Forge, either the shopping centre or the retail park, but will need to get there early and will have to wait a while to get away.
  6. Where's our match thread for Saturday? I created the last one, I think, so will let someone else do this yin. Clearly not a lot of excitement for it, given there's 40-odd hours until kick off.
  7. Whoever ends up in the play-off final, I want the Championship side to win it.
  8. I think finishing second may not be as favourable as it seems, as that team has to sit out for a week. Aye, they get to rest players, but do they not lose momentum? Thistle should have done it last season, to be honest. They blew a 3 goal aggregate league with 20+ mins to go.
  9. A draw on Saturday leaves you six clear of Dunfermline with three games to go; a win nine points clear and if you lose it's all still to play for! A massive, massive game.
  10. The play-offs obviously favour the form team. I wonder if Airdrie have peaked just a wee bit too early? It'd be good to have new blood in the Premiership.
  11. If I was tasked with organising the fixtures, I'd send one of the Old Firm to Rugby Park on the last day - given that Killie have beaten Old Firm opposition there three times already this season. I'd send Hearts to whichever one was playing at home. Any other league in the world would make their equivalent of the Old Firm the final match of the season, surely?
  12. I have been fantasising about that, too. Shadenfreude! It will be especially hilarious as it will make them greet even more about only getting one stand! It will also make the game exciting if there's nothing for us to play for.
  13. That's exactly what will happen. Hence I'm reading the thread. You've had a proper roller coaster of a season. I recall going to Fir Park at the beginning of the season and it was 2nd versus 3rd, IIRC. I heard some amazing stat about your number of losses under Kettlewell at the time. Then, obviously I won't need to remind you, came the dip in form. For you to be in contention of finishing top-six at the final pre-split game is fantastic given where you were. To be fair, you're clearly not a bad side on your day - you won at Ibrox, skelped Ross County (folk suggested 10-0 at half-time would have been reasonable) and that was a pretty incredible come back on Saturday! Dundee are no mugs, they pumped us 4-0 earlier this season. I don't think we'll catch Killie, who really are a strong side this year. So 5th spot is realistically the best we can hope for.
  14. Just here to wish you good luck tomorrow! Oh, and the following week.
