  1. Take it there’s zero chance for a neutral to get a ticket for next Saturday? My best wishes go to Stranraer, would rather see them stay up than this mob.
  2. I would be offering whatever money we have to keep Liam Scullion, and I know it is a long shot, but get JA signed up. He left for FT football but he’s not getting it at Falkirk, maybe, just maybe he would like a stab at a promotion challenge? I’d also do all I could to get Hamilton adding another year to his contract. If we have the money from the backer then use it ASAP. I fully trust AM to look for the players we need, and to keep the ones we want too.
  3. Josh McCulloch is contracted for next season.
  4. Aye, not really sure what to say about that, we were sublime, Liam Scullion is just a phenomenal wee guy. Just utter relief. I have a hangover that would floor an elephant, but absolutely worth it.
  5. Genuine commiserations to Stranraer, I was obviously praying it was you rather than us, but please thump EK next couple of weeks. Wouldn’t want to take a ticket away from a Stranraer fan but I would love to be there next week for the away game. All the best.
  6. As a Clyde fan I obviously want you to finish below us, but I genuinely mean it when I say I hope if you do, that you stay up. Obviously there was unsavoury incidents last time we were at Stair Park, but I would much rather you stay up than EK come up. Or if we are in the play offs that we do the business. Best of luck to both clubs.
  7. It’s terrifying that it’s again out of our hands, having been to the Stranraer away game and the home game two weeks ago, they’re not going down without a fight, and Forfar aren’t exactly world beaters. Potentially we could be in the Play Offs next week, we have to come out flying, and pray that the Stranraer bus breaks down and they’re knackered or something, incredible it has come to this. Regardless of what happens in the next few weeks we have to have a complete clear out of players and the board, it’s disgraceful that it has gotten to this stage. Anyone who sanctioned or even condoned Jim Duffy’s appointment or Brian McLean should hang their heads in shame and walk. Just looked for the easy option and it’s ultimately fucked us.
  8. That was a really hard watch, I honestly didn’t think we were ever going to score, 10/10 for effort in the second half, was like watching a different side compared to the first, although I don’t doubt the wind played a huge factor in how out of the game we were first 45. I honestly think this is the bounce the team need, off the bottom and do anything to keep us off the bottom. Perhaps being optimistic after a last gasp winner, but I genuinely believe we can go on and win the next three games. I just want us to be mathematically safe before Elgin away.
  9. Obviously Saturday is a huge game for us, goes without saying. The one I’m most concerned about is Dumbarton the following week. They’ve hit good form in the last three weeks, scudding Spartans 6–2, drawing at home to a team that needed to win to stand a chance of winning the league that week (with other things going in their favour admittedly). We must win away to Dumbarton if we pick up 3 points on Saturday. We need to get off bottom and stay off it.
  10. Probably wouldn’t cast aspersions if I was a Falkirk fan tbqhwy.
  11. How on earth can you paint this as a Clyde issue Bonnyrigg fan spits on a Clyde player, Clyde player retaliates. The end.
  12. He’s probably been getting grief all game. He’s absolutely every right to be where he is. Absolutely victim blaming by saying what you have. He could have been targeted all game and you’ve got some bellend spitting at him.
  13. If someone spat at me I would go through them, think anyone would. It must be one of the most disgusting things you can do to another person.
  14. Three points is massive, delighted that we have cut the gap. Spartans next week is big, we have to win this one. Sadly I’m away on a pre-arranged trip down south for football. With regards to the Scullion incident, I abhor spitting on anyone, and he will be punished for it, but why the f**k is the boy in the red tammy spitting at him? I hope he is banned from NDP for life.
  15. A friend of mine managed to get me a ticket today for Italy v Albania, and I think it’s as simple as having it in your UEFA app and then your friend (or re-sale site) transfer it to your wallet using your email address. Also got Switzerland ticket in the redraw in January so I’m absolutely buzzing. I did look into the re-sale sites and from what I saw they are completely legit, you get 150% of your money back on one if you do not receive the ticket. Obviously a worry if you’re waiting on the re-sale site getting them from the seller, but the seller will obviously lose out on money should they not send on.
  16. I wouldn’t class what I said as mitigation at all. I have said both sets of fans from what I could see were at fault. I just don’t understand why when we scored we had the young ones run to the front to celebrate with the players. And when you score your fans start to goad the Clyde fans that were closest to the small pocket at the far left of the stand. Whatever way you want to paint it, I was there, I was well away from the (non)-trouble, but I saw what happened; you had Clyde fans celebrate a goal, nothing more than you would expect from a normal bunch of fans, and then you had Forfar fans (not all I must say) goading Clyde fans, rather than celebrating with their own players. If you’re going to bite at people then you should probably expect a reaction. I’m not saying it’s right, but don’t come on here pleading that it’s the big bad Clyde fans that are at fault.
  17. Yes really disappointed at how bad they were, barely cooked! One of my highlights coming to Forfar.
  18. My hearing isn’t the best to be fair. Wish Forfar all the best, it’s a great away day but felt that today really sullied it. Hopefully we can both stay up, at the behest of EK, and go for a Guinness together before and after the game
  19. I was pretty far away from it and was shaking my head at both sets involved, but I don’t know why you’re not annoyed at Andrew Munro not instantly running to your fans to celebrate (presumably) your team staying up. I don’t recall one single shout towards Munro prior to him scoring, so no idea why he went towards the away end. Hey ho, I have always enjoyed my time going to Forfar, I hope we can enjoy it again next season, although hope the Bridie is better as it was as good as our pies this season.
  20. I’ve watched Clyde for 35 years and I don’t recall a single time we have as a group moved during the game. I understand that other fans do, but I have never bothered.
  21. I have, many, many times.. I just don’t understand why we would be told where to stand, and then have some home fans next to the Clyde fans, clearly enticing a fight. I guess it must be a thing when a big team comes to town
  22. I really don’t think you can pin the blame on Clyde fans today. As I said earlier there was zero need for Forfar fans to be right next to Clyde fans, zero need for Munro to go fucking mental at our fans rather than his own fans after equalising. Onto the actual talking points. Felt that Kabia should have been brought on at HT, we needed a second goal to kill the game. Ray Grant has been a complete liability lately, dunno if it’s because he’s out of position or terrified of getting injured again. 6 points adrift, 8 games to go. Guess it’s going to make things interesting.
  23. I’m far too old for all that nonsense.
  24. We have a fair share of bams, not denying that at all, but I saw that coming a mile off today. Not one Clyde fan (to my knowledge) was up in the Forfar faces when we scored, but when Munro equalised, 15+ Forfar wee guys playing Football Factory and then shitting it. Cannot comprehend why Munro is not celebrating with his own team’s fans either. Didn’t see Liam Scullion giving any abuse when he opened the scoring either.
  25. You had stewarding? Just use them appropriately. Zero need for Forfar and Clyde fans to be sharing a section of the stand.
