  1. I think most that turned up were in the age category for the £8 entrance fee.
  2. I enjoyed the game today if not the result. We created some decent chances and Id like to think we can start taking them in the games to come as the new players start to gel and further sharpness develops. Anyway, on to the next one........
  3. I think it looks ok tbh, but i agree that we really need to see in person. It's always going to be impossible to please everyone with the strips, as long as we have a good team playing in them, that'll do me!
  4. It definitely would have been good to have the kit available sooner, but they will come out eventually. An eta or an update should have been issued to keep the fans updated though. I'm looking to at least buy my son one and we look forward to seeing what they look like. The biggest issue I've had is that the club shop should be open immediately after the final whistle, as I feel they are missing so much business at the end of games I.e from those that don't get the chance to visit before the start of the game, hopefully that will change.
  5. Stretchered off with leg support being attached to him. I missed the challenge myself but he was definitely uncomfortable and was in distress. Hopefully it's not as bad as it seemed as would be a big loss for the start of the season.
  6. Absolutely delighted, without doubt our best performances of the season were the 4 play off games. Congratulations to the team!
  7. The league was over weeks ago. You will be very hard pushed to find an Accies fan that thinks otherwise. The remaining games against Falkirk really mean nothing to us now given the recent results against Montrose and Annan. The fans focus is purely on the playoffs and trying to hit some decent form towards the end of the season. As others have mentioned, we would much rather have a different manager in charge to see out the season and to get us to this point. I'd just enjoy the rest of the season as its a done deal (and well deserved), even by some miracle we won the last games against you, we are just not consistent enough to maintain unbeaten form.
  8. Hoping for a solid 2-0 win......time to kick on in this league! Think the comments on Kevin are unfair.....obviously he is not an out and out goal scorer, but his work rate and what he adds to the team is excellent , and he will get his fair share over the season. We have goals coming from all over the park also so we are not overly dependent on one player.
  9. I think patience from the player and the club is key for this move, and not rushing into anything. The number and calibre of clubs interested will only increase, which will result in a higher fee and more options for the player. It's such a young age to move away also and he will need a support network around him to adjust. It will be difficult not to be impressed being on trial though. My preference would be to ensure that we obtain a sell on fee and have him loaned back to us this season. I think a year of experience and confidence building in this league would really benefit him. One would then be 18yrs old and would have had time to prepare for his move. Overall I'm keen to see him have a great career and I hope he develops into the player we can see him being. Seems very humble and level headed from the outside, which can only help him going forward. Best of luck whichever way it goes.
  10. I agree with Winter, I don't think he does enough to justify a starting spot at the moment, he needs to keep working on his game and may work better as an impact sub for now (Lewis in same position). Hopefully his injury isn't anything serious. One definitely does deserve more game time and is always a threat when on the park, probably our most confident striker at the moment. I think it's a bit harsh on O'Hara as his work rate is always there, just not his best game in front of goal today. I think we will get goals from him but I agree with other posts that we need another striker for competition. Good thing for me at the moment is that the goals are spreading amongst the team which you need over the season.
  11. Another win and another 3 points is the main thing. Continuing to build a steady momentum and by the time the bigger games come round we will hopefully have gelled the new team further. Credit to Montrose, they were stuffy in defence and had more of a go of it in the second half....goalkeeper was good too. Another day that would have been a 4 or 5 nil win.....I feel that type of result is brewing for us though and will happen sooner or later.
  12. Would be great to keep him as I think a season under his belt would do him good, for his development, and we would obviously benefit too. If we do sell to a bigger club I'd be looking for a loan back to us straight away.
  13. Great result today. Good to see us going on a run, getting more possession and more shots in our games. A lot of positive signs for us going forward and looking towards the next game already!.
  14. Not great that any new/old fan joining the forum has to justify who they are or aren't constantly at the moment - shouldn't have to. Anyone not criticising is instantly assumed as a plant from the board rather than a fan with a different view - is that not possible? Crazy tbh.....just take it or leave it comments wise for me.......we are all meant to be on the same side after all. Anyway hoping we continue our good start to the season and continue to build momentum this weekend - come on the accies!
