  1. Aye, it'll sell out instantly regardless of price. Jeezo, that ends up being a very expensive Falkirk shirt indeed! Do you still have family based in Scotland? Would it possibly be cheaper for them to send it to you? £20 seems incredibly steep considering I've sent shirts to places like Argentina and Australia and I think it only cost something like £10? Can't comment on customs fees mind you.
  2. Aye, really hated that sponsor to begin with. Defo iconic now! Donaldson. What more can you say? He's went from someone a lot of people wanted binned to arguably player of the year.
  3. If I'm lucky enough to acquire one of these when they go on sale (only 150 being made apparently!) it'll be getting framed. Unrelated: Would also like to echo that I'd like to see the Est. 1876 return to the badge.
  4. I'm the exact same. The fact that we haven't missed Lang or Hendo tells you everything you need to know. Thought he was terrific on Saturday, with my only slight criticism (at the time) being Montrose's goal, but having watched it back, it's an absolute peach of a ball and simply not Mackie's fault in the slightest. He was my MotM. Get him signed up, McGlynn.
  5. As many of you will already be aware, I spent most of my life following Rangers up until my decision to leave them behind. I'd celebrated cup wins, league titles etc in the past but yesterday was on another level entirely. This meant 100x more. Running onto the pitch at FT and celebrating with the players and guys I went to school with will stay with me until the day I leave this earth. I wasn't born a Bairn, but I'll die one. Thank you FFC for making me fall in love with football again.
  6. Is Mackie out of contract? He's been phenomenal the last few games. I have to admit, I'd written him off a wee bit but he's clearly desperate to remain here and I don't think there's any more he can do. We haven't missed Lang or Hendo at all, and that's the biggest compliment I can give him.
  7. I'm absolutely gutted to hear that I missed the players celebrating in Behind the Wall. That said, I'm rough enough as it is! Yesterday will live long in the memory. I adore each and every one of the players in this squad. What a credit they are to the club. BRING ON THE CHAMPIONSHIP. COYB.
  8. And even if McGloves is done, are we not backing Nicky? Anybody signed should be as his back-up, I would have thought, as I can't imagine him signing a new two year deal just to sit on the bench every weekend.
  9. Should have booked a wee B&B in Arboath for the full weekend. Would have been nice for the missus and would have possibly earned you enough browny points to slip away for a couple of hours today
  10. Making the journey from North Ayrshire. Train through to Falkirk and then a supporters bus up to Montrose. Might be a mad one today so might stay at my old man's place in Grangemouth and head home tomorrow
  11. All about opinions mate. I'm willing to back Nicky. Give him the number 1 jersey for next season and sign an older head as a coach/back-up. I'd hardly describe Gaston as "honking".
  12. No issues at all with Nicky getting a new deal. I'd like to echo what others have said though, as I do feel an experienced back-up keeper would really help. Derek Gaston at Arbroath would be a good option, as he has coaching experience already. Michael McGovern of Hearts, for obvious reasons, would be another good choice. Even Jamie MacDonald at Morton would do. A younger alternative could be Jamie Sneddon at Partick Thistle, who is out of contract in the summer. He has bags of experience at championship level. I would expect him to probably be first choice, as opposed to back-up however.
  13. Last summer, we signed Tom Lang, Brad Spencer and Calvin Miller all in the same day. Now, I'm not saying that's the best business we've ever done, but it has to be in the conversation, surely?
  14. I'm sure this has been said plenty of times, but I really do enjoy listening to this man talk about football.
  15. Missing out on the greatest gaffer of all-time is one thing, but St Mirren had him and SACKED him. That's surely about 100x worse! That minds me, I still need to read his book. Does he talk much about his time at Falkirk in it?
  16. About time. The stadium really is in the arse end of nowhere. Dunno if anyone has noticed?
  17. Additional microphones set up near the ultras would be great. Folk who don't get to any games must wonder what all the fuss is about with the ultras as the noise simply doesn't get captured
  18. That roar when Cove scored. Spine-tingling. I still checked my phone, just to be sure, but I knew for a fact what the roar signalled . The Ultras deserve so much credit.
  19. I know what you mean. Something you definitely notice in the highlights packages. The noise definitely doesn't come through. Just compare with Blair McNally's (football vlogger) video he uploaded from Saturday and it's SO noisy. I sit in the KM every match, and I didn't even realise just how loud those youngsters are until I watched Blair's video It's a shame too that we can't just have scaffolding all the time in the vacant East space, and use it for broadcasting, as it would be nice to get a view of the main stand, like on BBC Alba, instead of a view of Grangemouth. I'm not criticising btw. I am very grateful that people volunteer to provide this service.
  20. Doesn't sound too bad at all! A good pub and restaurant would make a killing on matchdays.
  21. When is this gateway project due to be completed? It's a royal pain in the arse like. Also, as I don't stay in Falkirk anymore, I'm not as clued up as some people. What even are they developing? Is it more houses or what?
  22. Obviously we wouldn't get that amount for him, but when he's just signed a new contract, it means that the club are in a strong position negotiations-wise. Care to offer an amount you feel would be more realistic?
  23. You have to take into consideration how on the brink Falkirk were. We finished 6th before McGlynn came in ffs! Not for me to talk about whether Pars players are legends or not, you'd have to ask a Pars fan that question. That still blows my mind. How on earth are teams that pull in 800 punters each week spending more than us?
  24. For what it's worth, I agree with you. I more or less said to the same effect that I'd view Morrison as a legend if he took us all the way back to the premiership, and I get red dotted for it. This forum man. Disagree with me? Fine, but present an alternative viewpoint ffs
